Please, don't ever use pliers for this. If you are not a tech, just leave it alone. Bring it to a pro. You can seriously damage the flute this way.

What if my flute doesnt have any dents in it. Should i still try to round it?

+Death Rose-Chan if it doesn't show any dents but is loose, it should still be rounded. Be careful not to overdo it.

Yes if the plyers are rounded on the top and if they fit. But be careful not to scrape metal off.
