Um yeah... this doesn't work if you're trying to convert a voice memo to a text/ring tone. When you're in the root options of "Files/iCloud Drive"... The voice memo file is not "selectable". Even saved it to GarageBand and my iPhone... still not selectable. Jumping right into iOS doesn't really help much. I get the feeling there are more steps before jumping into iOS GB that are required.

Hey there. I don't have a standalone MP3 player these days, but I have tried it on a bunch of different MP3 player apps and software and all seems to work well.
Unfortunately the only thing I see is called EDL pro and everything is in French and it looks like it requires a subscription but it does not come up as a browser. I found a direct link via Google search for DDL light specifically but I got a message pop up from the Apple store that said that this app was not available in my country/region. I am in the US. I am guessing they found out it allows downloads and removed it from their store :-(

mine kinda worked... it's not letting me press my file i converted and it is gray instead of white ;(
Where are you trying to play it? You need to be in the Files app.

Maybe watch the video again. You can only play back audio files from within the “Files” app, not directly within GarageBand.
