Yes. Ablution is a prerequisite for 'Solaat'. It's not made "mandatory" for any other type of act of 'Ibaadah. While it is highly recommended to strive to always be in a state of ablution, it is not compulsory for acts of Ibaadah "outside Solaat." Wa'Llaahu A'alaam.
