Just completed the US set of games. I also picked up Cotton Fantastic Night Dreams, Last Blade, and Faselie! For my collection too. Sadly most NGPC games and the systems are going up in price. It’s such a great system and fun to collect for. I’m looking around for the NGPC crystal versions. The NGPC is kinda chunky So having one just a tiny bit slimmer (I think it’s 13% smaller) would suite me just fine.
lol i cant believe i bought one without knowing I got a slim. Looking at the video, I kinda like the original design (color schemes) more than the one I have (crystal blue slim).
emptyspotlight I'm planing on getting one (The "fat" NGPC) for like $70-80 with 7 games. Unfortunately, it's quite scratched. But it's a good offer tho
It's really too bad this info isn't more widespread. I have a slim with a missing battery door and while people sell battery doors online, they don't sell slim ones.
I recommend to use normal batteries on this system, because 40 hours is enough, and rechargeable batteries are very unestable discharging itself in different rate between them in a short period of time, this difference of voltage can damage some internal parts of the system. I only use rechargeable batteries in my GBA (quickly) because its modded with light screen and the power consume is terrifying.
One way to distinguish a slimline is by the font used for the word color on the upper right part of the screen the word color isn't in a script font like the non slim one is
I think this isn't really a slim line. The skeleton version is just one one the last japanese models they have the different batterie slots then the american version which is the blue one. by the way very nice video.
Excellent vid, I have recently gotten into this system and can't wait to grow my collection.

I'll take as many as I can at those prices if you can send them to me from 8yrs ago please 🤗

so l just got a slim version for 30 bucks but still no game to play , not even sure if the cartridge slot works at the moment.
Is the batterycover a sure way to tell if a console is slim or not? I thought the blue camo was not slim, but it has the new style batterycover.
