Spearmen have more attacks because they're fighting in more ranks. It's one of those old fantasy battle holdovers.
It was a very enjoyable tourney. I thought that the standard of painting on display was extremely high. Really nice to see it.
It would be cool if we could see pictures of your painted units as you talk about them during the "list" part

2 games against Herd?! It does somewhat spark joy in my heart, even if I don't think they're in a really good place right now. Cool people have fun with them though! Great hobby projects for sure, as I've found (but play my models as varangur right now, ehm...)

Thematically, spears have reach so more than the front rank can hit the enemy. They should probably be called pikes or pole arms to be more accurate.

Game 3 could you have charged thru the gladewalker with your pike horde into the fire elemental flank cuz no mighty then slid to the left so the horde isn’t sitting on him?

I think you have to be able to complete the charge without sitting over the individual. I think
@@DeathByDragons yep under individuals. They actually cover this in the rules wow.
„This means that Enemy and Friendly units that are not Disordered may move, Charge and pivot through them as long as they end their entire movement, or the Move step of any Charge, clear of the Individual.“
