I wasnt comfortable driving around the carousel, I was also fairly slow with around 120-130kmh... I was constantly looking in the mirrors to check if someone was behind me, I hated it. Not a good track on tourist rides, but when there are events that involve only motorcycles its an insane track.
As a biker and gone around the ring on my old 1972 Norton Commando Combat, this just shows that no matter how skilled you are, you still beat a most car. Love it, all kind of creatures, just on the Nordschleife to have fun, and that is what it is all about :)

Peak hour on the Nurburgring . Someone on a Transalp , Someone Two up and a C-grade Sidecar . Has Anyone ever pushed a Goldwing HARD round here ? Suspension Full Hard needless to say . The big brutes Handle well could be a revelation .
If you ask me, it's life dangerous shit to allow bikes and cars together because of the different characteristics (top cars are faster on the corners, average or more powerful bikes are faster on the straight line...) - I love cars on the NoS but my heart beats faster for bikers (I ride a VFR 750). Keep the rubber side down! :)
What’s dangerous is the same thing that makes bikes dangerous to ride on the road, car drivers not paying attention, like silver BMW near the start not moving to the right If cars paid attention, it would be perfectly safe for bikes, but you can’t trust other people to be looking out for you. It’s fine if you don’t go to the Ring to try and set a lap record, just enjoy the ride
For old scary guys without enough balls and skills, to ride. So yes you will always need a better rider than driver for same time around. But this 911 has been beaten by a lot of bikes around a track. To slow at acceleration. It s a heavy cow!
