I’ll be honest, I loved the gun design in Infinite Warfare. It’s hard making future guns that actually look and behave like a functioning firearm, and Infinity Ward somehow managed to do a good job. Of the Big 3 in COD, they have the best gun models, hands down.
Yep. They were all designed very smart and beautiful. The texture and animation quality is also very good (as futuristic CoD games go) So bad that Activision had to ruin everything with stupid pay to win boxes and maps locked behind DLC
Infinite Warfare was pretty much the template for COD MW 2019. I see a lot of footprints there (especially the campaign, which I rank IW's amongst the TOP 3 of CoD Campaings)
The most unrealistic thing in this video is the expectation that we'll have such pristine beaches in the future, and that the people on them won't react to someone testing dozens of weapons right over their heads.

I went into this video thinking only like 12 of the guns had real life design counterparts and I was pleasantly surprised
I feel like this game more than most futuristic setting games did such an honest job trying to make the guns feel like real possibilities. They used real guns for inspiration, they describe how the guns were made in certain ways such as 3D printing, I even thing it’s interesting that they put “red dots” or various sights on guns instead of irons like that seems like manufacturers could try that in the future you can literally buy guns today that don’t come with any irons at all.
Yes, I screwed that one up a little bit. But the only real difference between the M1D and the M1 Garand is the scope, which is an accessory. So, my mistake is still somewhat correct Thanks for pointing out
