I love how, especially in the bigger sections, they all don't start playing at the same time there's always that one or two slightly late. So accurate to high school bands
I remember when I first joined band in 6th grade, I wanted to play the Trombone. When I found out that I couldn't even vibrate my lips on a brass mouthpiece, I wanted to quit band while there was still time. That was when a friend encouraged me to stay and enjoy playing music. I ended up playing the Alto Saxophone because I scored an 8/10 on it.
If this were a typical anime (or light novel), the male in the trumpet section would have been the MC. He is the most generic-looking and seems to have a vaguely apathetic attitude. He is also the only guy in the section, which is otherwise cute girls whose numbers are not too small or large. Main girl is there and identifiable by thighhighs. Trumpet is a lead instrument, so he and the girls can star when needed. Also, percussion should have been tuning timpani haha.

Because most bassists would be in the string orchestra with the violinists and whatnot. I think one bassist is actually more than what most school wind bands in the US would have.
I heard that French horns and euphoniums sound almost the same. Maybe that's why euphonium does not play in a classical orchestra, that it can easily be replaced by a French horn.
