when i was taking keyboarding in high school in 2006 someone had uploaded this and a few other ghost mice songs to the computer, and i would listen while learning to type. never heard them anywhere else before or since

Its "i figured out how i feel about you" by captain chaos which is the singer of ghost mice so thats why it sounds the same

FOr some reason I love everything about this song but the vocal... I guess whatever genre of this music is an acquired taste... umm folk something?

This is not one of their best and I feel the violin being out of tune (or the harmonica or both) is what sets this song from me liking it. I hope they redo this one day because the rest of it sounds great!
I think it might be on purpose because they mention in the song about singing a little out of tune.

@C0rporeal His voice is nasally and affected. More at home with backing music like Sum-41 than what we have here. It's a little jarring at first.
maybe the grandpa committed suicide, its not too hard to believe at all.
hes voice is kinda meh (sounds like a generic pop emo singer) but i like the guitar and especially the little interlude thing a lot. i could easily grow to like his voice
