I have the same Laptop and it gets about 85-90 degrees while playing Forza, AC Valhalla or Cyberpunk. It never thermal Throttle but it gets as loud as a Military Jet. 😂

@@HyphenHDJ I assume it's like 20 Degree Celsius. I really recommend you to buy a cooling pad or install an AC. Both can give you a lot of benefits. I have AC installed in my room and my laptop from the usual 87 Celsius goes down to at least 70 Celsius. I also tilt the laptop at a slight angle for more air to come in and out. These are just tips of course. You can use these tips if you want.

I'm not so sure. But as far as programming and all is concerned. I believe they'd require higher multi core performance. So because of that you can opt for Ryzen since gaming isn't your prime purpose. If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to correct me.
The most important component for programming is processor and it's single thread performace. i5-11400H and 5800h have the same single thread performance, and 5800h provides better multi thread performance. So I would recommend you to choose 5800.
Also if you are interested, there are new Legion 2022 series with Intel 12th gen processors and there are already ASUS TUF series also with these processors. They provide much better single thread performance.
Using this laptop for over 1.5 years and here is my honest review: 1. The major con in this specific laptop ive noticed is the battery where it lasts maximum around 1-2 hours if you constantly use it without power saving mode on and performance mode on high 2. The Performance to cost ratio is unbeatable, the closest match I could find was acer Nitro with the same specs 3. No major issues have been encountered like keyboard damage, touch pad malfunction or anything. 4. I've noticed to gain around 5-8 fps in almost all games by overclocking the gpu using the Nvidia panel itself. This is a safe overclocking that is best suited if you don't know what you are doing. 5. It allows for great multitasking where you can use multiple chrome tabs at the same time while also running a game on the background (depends on how optimized the game is when it's running in the background). I tried it with games like cyberpunk, red dead 2 and it seem to handle it fine for over 15-20 mins. 6. I highly suggest to use a external cooling pad and generally play in an AC room as the laptop gets really hot after 2-3 hours of gaming.

I would say definitely go with i5 11400 because it has 2 cores more than 11300. A 11300 would definitely bottleneck your GPU. Also, 6 core cpus would be the bare minimum in a few years, so more future proof than 11300.

@@hml1607 its depends on ur uses if u want to play games than intel perform better because of better single core performance and if u want to do editing and stuff then ryzen will perform better but its a small difference between this processor even u can't notice in day to day uses

I'm not so sure. But as far as programming and all is concerned. I believe they'd require higher multi core performance. So because of that you can opt for Ryzen since gaming isn't your prime purpose. If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to correct me.

The most important component for programming is processor and it's single thread performace. i5-11400H and 5800h have the same single thread performance, and 5800h provides better multi thread performance. So I would recommend you to choose 5800.
Also if you are interested, there are new Legion 2022 series with Intel 12th gen processors and there are already ASUS TUF series also with these processors. They provide much better single thread performance.

Using this laptop for over 1.5 years and here is my honest review:
1. The major con in this specific laptop ive noticed is the battery where it lasts maximum around 1-2 hours if you constantly use it without power saving mode on and performance mode on high
2. The Performance to cost ratio is unbeatable, the closest match I could find was acer Nitro with the same specs
3. No major issues have been encountered like keyboard damage, touch pad malfunction or anything.
4. I've noticed to gain around 5-8 fps in almost all games by overclocking the gpu using the Nvidia panel itself. This is a safe overclocking that is best suited if you don't know what you are doing.
5. It allows for great multitasking where you can use multiple chrome tabs at the same time while also running a game on the background (depends on how optimized the game is when it's running in the background). I tried it with games like cyberpunk, red dead 2 and it seem to handle it fine for over 15-20 mins.
6. I highly suggest to use a external cooling pad and generally play in an AC room as the laptop gets really hot after 2-3 hours of gaming.

I would say definitely go with i5 11400 because it has 2 cores more than 11300. A 11300 would definitely bottleneck your GPU. Also, 6 core cpus would be the bare minimum in a few years, so more future proof than 11300.
