Hey, its exactly what the gaming community needs. As a Day 1 Gamer (walked in the house drinking some Kool Aid and the 1st Atari commercial came on Tv) I have seen it all. Video games, consoles, Arcades and handhelds. We Never argued over Console loyalty. It was more about which console your freinds had so that we could play All the games. This Microsoft Xbox stratrgy will help the Community get back to what we were all about...The Games. Exclusives was a device of Playstation. Now we can start to get back to letting gamers get to games regardless of their console choice. I luv this. I have always hated Exclusives, even as a person who has All the machines...
I agree I hate the console wars and arguing thing but I do have a different view. I feel too many are looking Short term, saying oh it’s only a few games etc BUT if this makes Microsoft money you can bet more and more games will make the jump. What I fear is this dilutes the reasons to own an Xbox console or Xbox to keep making consoles and they gradually shift to a full 3rd party offering, which I think Microsoft wants, it’s in there name, they are software. They want a full digital software game offering to us consumers so they can maximise profit,.This is what I do not want, I want more physical consoles and hardware whatever that may be from the big 3 and more pushing each other to make the best hardware and games at the best price for the consumer. They all get lazy, greedy and complacent without competition. Microsoft’s number 1 priority that would help them in every product or Xbox service they offer is make repeatedly good games. They have not done this in years. This is why they are struggling, every part of Xbox ties back to people having good games to play, and fingers crossed there million studios is about to deliver. The only one who gets pass marks is playground with forza horizon games which have been unreal, the rest have been mid to ok. They just change this asap, and deliver on multiple consecutive occasions. Should just say I have all the consoles and play everywhere, I want them all too succeed and to deliver the best value to us gamers. End of.
First of all, Nintendo and Sega would like to have a word with you about Exclusives. Second, if there are no exclusives then what reason does a company have to make a box? We are gonna have all these GameStationBox manufacturers with pisspoor quality and compatibility. The reason gaming has gone the way it has because these 3 or 4 companies have pushed each other. Halo on Xbox, GoW on Playstation, Mario on Nintendo. That's how it's always has been and always should be.
xbox has day and date GAMEPASS. and when and if any titles go elsewere after a year or 2 i do not care.. he also did say the 4 games chosen were tapped out on pc and xbox.. so mainly dead games (not halo geras forza ect) LOL
