Hi, Roscoe. It's me. One of the myriads writing you here. These short films are such art. So meticulously planned and filmed. The storyline is - to use a word Joon mentioned - intriguing. To say the least. After listening to you intently, Jin's Awake just had me in shivers. Hair standing up on my arms and everything. It is because of the way you have interpreted the prior short videos, analysed them et al - to come to a point where Jin's basically wraps up this storyline at this juncture. So fun watching you go through this! When I first found the BU, I paused frame for frame to find any little clue. I love the previous installations, but the Wings Short Films blew me away the first time I saw them! I wish so badly that I was ARMY when these were coming out, can you imagine?!
This is fascinating, Roscoe, thanks for such an exhaustive journey through the short films. As an entertaining aside, there are behind-the-scenes clips; one showing Joonie in his incarnation as the God of Destruction - in the first shoot of the phonebooth scene, he broke the phone booth when pretending to get inside and he and the staff had no idea how he did it! The second clip was Jin being startled by the petals bursting into flames through several takes. I think the Snickers bar was a rather emotive element in Hobi's story.
Far as hobie's story Munchausen by proxy is a function of the parent who desires to Revel in the illness of their child so in his case he is not the one who is ill but his mother whom he should be able to rely on to care for him is actually the one who is ill so he has lived his whole life being treated as though he is ill
Yes that is the meaning of Munchhausen by Proxy - but that's not what the Dr wrote on Hobi's form..it was only Munchhausen Syndrome -they are two separate but related conditions. So Roscoe was right in what he said as the meaning..it's saying Hobi is the one who's suffering from it, not his mother (and I'm assuming you don't know Hobi's BU story, which offers an explanation why).

Roscoe didn't seem to consider the fact that, if not for the mysterious whistling Suga chased after, he would still have been sitting at the piano when it crashed into the music store. On the other hand, would it have crashed if not for the close encounter with Suga on the road? One - or perhaps both - could be true. 💜

Not sure if anyone mentioned that the doctor/nurse’s plan of treatment for Hobo said “Placebo”. Understandable if they believe the Munchausen diagnosis they’ve written down….but we’ve since learned Hobi is narcoleptic & su1c1d@l. THAT’s what they should’ve been treating him for. Now his reaction to the Placebos is an entirely different thing. Could’ve all been a dream while asleep after a narcoleptic episode…or could be signs of another mental disorder going undiagnosed & untreated. (Edit: I still need to read the Notes that apparently tell more of the backstory with Hobi & his @bus1ve mother. But apparently his mother & Jimin’s should go out for drinks.)

Or is that something else you need to do before reading the notes?
