ABOUT SUPERSTORE
America Ferrera and Ben Feldman star in the hilarious workplace comedy "Superstore," about a unique family of employees at a supersized megastore. "Superstore" centers around Amy (Ferrera), who recently was promoted to be the store manager and is the glue holding the place together, and Jonah (Feldman), a dreamer determined to prove work doesn't have to be boring. Their fellow associates include the sardonic Garrett (Colton Dunn), the sweet and clueless Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom), and the perpetually dismissed Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi). Also on the team are Glenn (Mark McKinney), who stepped down as manager in an attempt to have more family time, and Dina (Lauren Ash), the aggressive assistant manager who enforces Cloud 9 policy with an iron fist. Mateo (Nico Santos) was also part of the team, most recently as the self-promoted floor supervisor, until being detained due to his undocumented status. Dina might not act like it, but she really loves and cares for Sandra.
I absolutely love that there was an understanding of the conversation, like Sandra one night confided a deep fear to Dina one late night stocking frozen. Dina cares about her job and her job can't function without its employees, and if that means acting crazy and unhinged, goddamn it she'll do it!
Dina and Amy are the best bridesmaids 🙌
Amy looked after the arrangements end to end and Dina saved the cat
Both of them are truly committed to Sandra's friendship 😍
Dina above all else wants to keep her friends safe and I love that about her. Her character grew the most out of any and I think part of that is the actress who played her. I miss this show

Dina is the kind of friend you think looks cold and heartless, but will be the first one to help and do more when a friend is in need.

I have a pitch. We're shown how well off everyone is and then a simultaneous chaotic undoing of all the characters has them asking for their jobs back almost at the same time. That could be an extra long opening and then we just get back into normal superstore operations like nothings happened
@@Hx3ney I feel like that would’ve only worked if they ended the show before 2020 and rebooted after the pandemic, like they all lost their jobs that made them so well off and had to go back to being essential workers at the store, then the show could explore their new challenges as a result of the pandemic like finances, identity, family, etc.
@@notsuspicioususer4080 I guess everything is going great where you live? Where I live there's an affordable housing crisis. Rent is out of control. Businesses are going bankrupt. People are fleeing the state. There's an extraordinary amount of homeless begging on all available corners. It's worse now than it was during the pandemic. That's all besides the point though. There doesn't need to be logic
@@Hx3ney nope, it’s going the same. It just wouldn’t make sense for them all to need a job at the exact same time unless there was a sudden event, like the pandemic, that affected them all at once
@@notsuspicioususer4080 First thing I really hope things start to get better for us all soon. What I meant by there doesn't need to be logic is, I personally like randomness illogical humor that takes you by surprise and makes you slap your forehead. Also though I don't think individually each character having a stroke of bad luck is that far out there considering the world we live in right now. But if you're right and there needs to be something more substantial what workable ideas do you have?
