It’s not purple light, it’s ultra violet or UV, the kind of light that attracts mosquitoes 🦟. However it’s a good idea for getting rid of them 👍🏻👍🏻

You can use pc cooling fan with led lights 🚥 as alternative

How long will this one made of cardboard withstand. It doesn't seems reliable. However a one made of plastic will be much more durable.
