Street Sharks was a bad show let's be honest with ourselves; it's dated as all heck, was ripping off Ninja Turtles way too late, the team of heroes may be diverse in appearance but are really all the same meat-head with no real defining characterization, it was unapologetically commercial driven, didn't bother to develop any real lore or iconography to separate it from every other Hasbro style toy vehicle, represents all of the most cringe worthy aspects of 90s nerd culture and that last part hurts to say a little because I am a 100% 90s kid and am not ashamed of that. but you know what there is promise to this premise on paper the same way there is promise to Ninja Turtles. We've seen silly ideas be used to make something great, sometimes even fantastic. I think that in the right hands a SS can make a high quality action series for children. Maybe not an artistic achievement like Batman the Animated Series, Gargoyles, or Avatar the Last Airbender but definitely something just as good
