Just watched your video, i never really did tracks but now youve sparked my interest. Do you have. A discord channel we can join to share ideas and thoughts?
Thanks a lot for the tutorials! Im experimenting rn with a hinge placed facing downwards so it can swing side to side and by reading the angle with an event controller you can make it so it limits its speed in curves without the need for scripts or user control. I think with a bit more time it'll be an easier system than using scripts, maybe not as efficient but it look cool as hell to have a "sensory organ" on the train !
@@gabchska9838 I've been working on and off about using the event controllers too and with the signals update adds more potential that I've not tapped into yet. I've also tried a lot of things from trans to bases to inventory management without the use of a script as well.
@sephykrayt I've been watching your train videos they are very cool I've been playing space engineers now for a while but just trnow learning some more advanced aspects of the game but trying to build my own train and I can't figure out how to properly build the wheel section (not sure what they're actually called) do you have a video where it shows you how you build the wheel section your videos are great at showing the process for how to get it working correctly the only video I've seen the person just goes through it doesn't really explain it
Well I'm glad your you've been watching and that your playing SE. As for the wheels. It's not easy to explain I will have to show. There is a slight thing tho. Each set of wheels (the boggie) that attached to the train is build for a specific track example being US trains use a higher gauge that EU. So the one I build is for my track size, but I will get to making a vid to show the process of the wheel set. 👍
Thanks for the tutorials. Is it possible that you build tracks that can go up and down hill and make a tutorial for it? and second, can you make a blueprint with the collor pattern you use? would be very nice.
What blueprint is it your after? yes i can make a tutorial for up and down hills is actually on my to do list at the moment, was planning on it during a steam but i can make vid too 👍
@TheGamer-cj8no are you playing on steam? Cause you can just type Vis motiva into the workshop and download it and paste it into a world and explore the whole thing. I'm not sure how the console does it.

I just want a blueprint that schows every collor of the vis motiva because I like the collors of it. :)

@@sephykrayt I have got the train. It is very very nice. I hope it is ok if i make a new type of train with the parts of the old train.
@TheGamer-cj8no of course you can, have fun 👍
Why bother having the double side track move? The only side that needs to move after being initially placed is the single side.
@@Tiltrotortech honestly I never thought to try single track so I'll chalk it down to personal preference lol 👍
