I agree that rakshit and rishab are doing a good job. But it does not mean they are the only ones who are uplifting KFI. Avarigintha munche industry hit koytirovru thumba idhare. Not just commercial there are many other directors who have done content oriented movies and got good name to KFI. Well said. I'm a Tuluva, raised in hubli. I never ever experienced any discrimination from kannadigas. Kannadiga's are very welcoming and respectful towards other cultures. This movie would not have been a hit if it was only shot in tulu, because Tuluva are numerically less and it would not have been feasible to make a tulu movie on big budget.

I'm seeing a lot of comments from some separatists who are saying "3 Shetty's are the only hope for kannada cinema" and abusing kannadigas with words like "Gatthadha mande", "gattadaye" and speaking as if kannada industry just started a decade ago. This is no just in this particular video. On all post relate to Kanthara a few gangs start barking in the comment section.

Neevu "gattadaye" antha badkothideeralla, remember without the help of gatthadha gowda( hombale - vijay kiragandur) your gatthadha kelagina director could not have made this movie. Learn to respect everyone. Only directors cannot make the movies. Producers need to have bigger vision for any movie to be successful.
There are many non mangalorean directors like Pawan Kumar, Pawan wodeyar. Hemanth Rao, Soori, Adarsh eeshwarappa, Prashant Neel who are doing great job in there on genres.

I have absolutely no hatred for Rishab. Infact I have watched the movie and I liked it very much and wish him success for future movies. This reply is purely intended to those separatists who are just leaking there negative mindsets in the comment section..
Well said. I'm a Tuluva, raised in hubli. I never ever experienced any discrimination from kannadigas. Kannadiga's are very welcoming and respectful towards other cultures. This movie would not have been a hit if it was only shot in tulu, because Tuluva are numerically less and it would not have been feasible to make a tulu movie on big budget.
