I mean it is rude. But is it more about getting attention? Tanya is kinda a high profile friend so does she want attention? Usually more people are at the event if you are late than if you are early. And it's kinda selfish and doesn't sound like she wants to get passed it. And Ryan that kind of control often is the dominator not the victim. Victims are far more submissive. It's more anxiety provoking to go against the situation for a victim, this is her feeling anxiety about going along with the situation. So she is the controller not the one being controlled, which is something Tanya should be aware of.

@@momma8954 to the one who is late, not to the people waiting. Time is valuable, why make anyone waste their time waiting for you? That's so self centered and rude. And apparently it is that deep if she is in therapy for it! She's actually paying someone money to help her resolve it so I would say it's deep. Only you are the flaky one who is inconsiderate enough to say other people waiting for you don't matter. I would end a friendship with someone who was consistently late. And being in Tanya's position where this person has something to lose, don't you think it's kind of a big deal? As Tanya gets older she is going to start to value her time even more. And in this industry where people are hidden, back to back appointments, it throws everyone's day off.
I think it’s ok to be late a few mins. Like if traffic gets bad all of a sudden. I usually do run late but I’ll always update anyone needed if I am. I’m usually never more than 5-10 mins late. And this is usually for when I have plans with my immediate family or bf. I don’t like being late for plans with others, it’s embarrassing. I have social anxiety and rather be early, bcuz that means less people will be at the party. Which is great bcuz large crowds make me nervous. And when the crowd gets big, I can just leave bcuz I’ve been there a while. I had a group of friends who were always late and I was always the one driving the farthest.

Where this only is not fine is it's consistent behavior and what I am just reading into it based on only what I hear because it's a bad enough of a problem that she was called out on the radio and she is in therapy I think that suggests more than a few minutes late. She admits herself that's it's a control issue. I don't know Tanya but I imagine she has engagements that have to do with her career and impressing promoters and managers who could give Tanya an edge in her trained exposure to bigger and better jobs. So this really seems a little selfish to me to have a friend who doesn't think that she might be costing Tanya something by arriving late. Since fame is known as a cut throat industry is this a direct attempt at sabotaging her friends (Tanya's) success? Or is this just jealous that Tanya is getting noticeably better offers. Parties in this business are an opportunity to network and grow in her power, popularity, reputation and that's why I think this is a big red flag if her friend can't get it together maybe Tanya needs to find a new friend. I understand and sympathize with social anxiety, and please take care of you. But Tanya can't afford to coddle those fears in this fast past business. People are waiting, time is money and that's their livelihood. So she needs to help her friend not adult try and control her. Grow up friend! Tanya I will be your friend if this girl doesn't work out! Just kidding 😉. I know we aren't compatible either.
@@laurarogers4424 hopefully Tanya is not riding with her and they take separate rides. Bcuz you are right that Tanya may need to network. She can keep Becca as a friend just not invite her to big important events.
