फारुख अब्दुल्ला के बेटे उमर अब्दुल्ला का अब मुख्यमंत्री बनना फाइनल हो गया है. जहां 41 सीटें जीतने के बाद नेशनल कॉनफ्रेंस अब सरकार बनाने जा रही है तो वहीं 6 विधायकों वाली कांग्रेस ने उसे समर्थन दिया है. लेकिन इस बीच नेशनल कॉनफ्रेंस की सरकार को 6 में से 5 निर्दलीय विधायकों और एक CPI के विधायक का भी समर्थन मिल गया है ऐसे में कांग्रेस को कितनी अहमियत मिलती है ये अब देखने वाली बात होगी.

But in the meantime, the National Conference government has also got the support of 5 out of 6 independent MLAs and one CPI MLA, so it remains to be seen how much importance the Congress gets.
