Honestly, none of the logos on Disney's VHS tapes really scared me (not even these)... But the white screen with the constant high pitched BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP noise that appeared at the *end* of some of them (otherwise known as the "White Screen of Death") woke me up from a deep sleep many nights...
Brian Cummings is the announcer here. BTW, these never scared me, even when I was like 6 or 7. I guess I was lucky, because I know a lot of people are scared of these, and I can understand why.
kinda funny looking at these I was horrified I am fine watching them I actually like the music and the announcer sounds much more friendly than he did on the Filmreel FP and the Paramount FP
There's another Flashbang logo in a video called "Opening to Quiz Show 1995 VHS" called Look for this Soundtrack, later replaced by Now Available on CD & Cassette! Check it out!
Hey, if u ever have the dvd of Gone In 60 Seconds, did u ever noticed the voice for the Now Available On Video And DVD logo was the same for the logo of Now Available On DVD? It's awesome.
They must've been drunk when they got the idea for these bumpers. Did they really think a logo that flashbangs onto the screen without a warning with Brian Cummings voice wouldn't scare little kids.
Another voiceover from that is "Stay tuned after the feature for a very special message. And now, for feature presentation." It was seen on "The Rock" and The Postman if I remember.
Another thing I would like to say like I did say about the Gone In 60 Seconds DVD a long time ago. My favorite logo from the flashbang logos is the Now Available On CD & Cassette cause I love music and I like all of the zoom in logos, but my best 5 are Now Available On Video And DVD, Coming Soon On Video And DVD, Now Available To Own On DVD, Coming Soon To Rent On Video and Now Available To Rent On Video. The rest are good too.
I DVD versed the logos for descriptions: 1. Coming Soon to Theaters (Mighty Joe Young from The Parent Trap 1998 VHS, Toy Story 2 from the 1999 VHSes of My Favorite Martian and Doug's 1st Movie and The Tigger Movie from Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving 1999 VHS) 2. Now In Theaters (The Tigger Movie from Sing a Song with Tigger 2000 VHS) 3. Coming Soon to Own on Videocassette (Toy Story from James and the Giant Peach 1996 VHS, George of the Jungle from Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas 1997 VHS and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride from the 1998 VHSes of Flubber, The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars, Melody Time, The Black Cauldron, Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World, Kiki's Delivery Service and The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story) 4. Now Available to Own on Videocassette 5. Coming Soon to Videocassette (Toy Story from James and the Giant Peach 1996 VHS, George of the Jungle from Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas 1997 VHS and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride from the 1998 VHSes of Flubber, The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars, Melody Time, The Black Cauldron, Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World, Kiki's Delivery Service and The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story) 6. Now Available on Videocassette 7. Now Available on CD & Cassette 8. Now Available on CD & Cassette from Hollywood Records 9. Look for This Soundtrack 10. Coming Soon from Disney Interactive 11. Now Available from Disney Interactive 12. Now Available on Video and DVD 13. Coming Soon on Video and DVD 14. Now Available to Own on Video and DVD (Mighty Joe Young (1998) from The Rescuers 1999 VHS and My Favorite Martian from Doug's 1st Movie 1999 VHS) 15. Now Available to Own on DVD 16. Now Available to Rent on Video 17. Coming Soon to Rent on Video 18. Stay Tuned After the Feature for More Great Previews 19. Stay Tuned After the Feature for Another Great Preview 20. Stay Tuned After the Feature for a Very Special Message 21. Feature Presentation (George of the Jungle after the George of the Jungle Soundtrack promo, The Parent Trap (1998) after the Two of a Kind promo, Mighty Joe Young (1998) after the Flik's Musical Adventure at Disney's Animal Kingdom trailer and My Favorite Martian after the So Weird promo)
If there was a Zoom In Feature Presentation bumper, then Brian Cummings would say "And Now, Our Feature Presentation" from the 1994 VHS of Hocus Pocus.
Except the 'Previews' logo had the Great Ovation music that they used. And if I find the 'Now Available on DVD' logo (not the 'Now Available to Own on DVD' logo) I will give it as an update.

I was never really scared of these bumpers. In fact, I liked them quite a bit!
Coming soon to theaters. Now in theaters. Well that was quick!

More childhood nostalgia!
Oh, I remember these all too well.. these flashbang logos were good for when I didnt want to sleep XD
Dick.

I remember getting so excited when these popped up. "OH DAMN, NEW SHIT!"
my favorite is now available on CD and cassette
Brian Cummings is the announcer here. BTW, these never scared me, even when I was like 6 or 7. I guess I was lucky, because I know a lot of people are scared of these, and I can understand why.
Fun fact: Brian Cummings also did the voice of the guy that says "BUT ITS WRONG!!!" from 2 stupid dogs.
***** Yeah, but, Jim's not related to Brian Cummings, according to Wikipedia.
I wasn't scared either
kinda funny looking at these I was horrified I am fine watching them I actually like the music and the announcer sounds much more friendly than he did on the Filmreel FP and the Paramount FP
Those were a good days of watching Disney movies.
There's another Flashbang logo in a video called "Opening to Quiz Show 1995 VHS" called Look for this Soundtrack, later replaced by Now Available on CD & Cassette! Check it out!
I used to be too, but never the flashbang logos.
@STIFILMS It's awesome. I want VHS tapes back
the first one of these I ever saw was on a VHS movie called "The Faculty" from the 90's.
Just type in "Opening to VHS Now in Theaters" and a whole bunch of videos with the logo will come up.
1:25 From Disney Sing-Along Songs: Colors of the Wind 1995 VHS
the flashbang logos still to this day scare the 6 by f**k outta me.😵😵😵
Hey, if u ever have the dvd of Gone In 60 Seconds, did u ever noticed the voice for the Now Available On Video And DVD logo was the same for the logo of Now Available On DVD? It's awesome.
This Feature Presentation song called Great Ovation by Steve Gray.
0:33 taken from The Horse Whisperer
They must've been drunk when they got the idea for these bumpers. Did they really think a logo that flashbangs onto the screen without a warning with Brian Cummings voice wouldn't scare little kids.
Has anyone got "The Strongest Man in the World" VHS? That VHS has "Coming soon to own on Videocassette" and "Now Available to Own on Videocassette"
Another voiceover from that is "Stay tuned after the feature for a very special message. And now, for feature presentation." It was seen on "The Rock" and The Postman if I remember.

Disney Sing Along Songs: Colors Of The Wind
0:16 - 1:25
I've never seen the DI, Rent, and DVD bumpers before.
Neither have I
Opening to Armageddon 1998 VHS
I used to be scared of all the feature presentation things all of my life
Same

@Truenarutopower89 Me tooI I wish I had VHS tapes with all these logos.
Garrett Menshew Pixar Kid ***** Do Any of you remember these cause I do
Yes
just pointing this out for ya, but you're missing the "Previews" logo.
1:10, sounds similar to the way he said “DVD” in some 1999-2006 bumpers
thank you!
What happened to the Coming Soon To Own On Video And DVD variant?
Since every other logo. It's a little rare though.
0:47-0:50 Now Available From Disney Interactive from James and the Giant Peach 1996 vhs
I remember. For the hunchback of Norte dame: topsy turvy games and Timon and pumba games for PC.
No City of Angels on UA-cam.
Cant. Theres no Opening to the Crow video that isnt a person holding a camera.
I am scared by the zoom-in logos and flashbang logos
This looks similar to Jeopardy.
***** It looks similar in its font and background when a question is displayed.
@rod1014 where? never heard of that one.
@MarioSonic2010 i saw it. its cool, but im not gonna reupload this with that logo. ill put the link to the vid in an annotation
Why only 'coming soon to rent on video'? X3

What were the first and last tapes to have those logos?
I remember the bumpers at 0:06, 0:12 and 0:17.
I'm not scared of these
The video isn't available in 3D.
Same.
Who was the announcer?
Brian Cummings
This is very scary
Ur tellin me
@KittyLover1061994 It's not a zoom-in or flashbang logo. it zooms out and does not fit this category.
@Trainboy107 that logo doesnt exist. i dont know why. i didnt make them.
0:29 😰😰😰😰
If there was a Zoom In Feature Presentation bumper, then Brian Cummings would say "And Now, Our Feature Presentation" from the 1994 VHS of Hocus Pocus.
I dont remember. Sorry bud!
1:02
Winnie the Pooh anyone?
I believe that there's a "Look for This Soundtrack" bumper as a flash-bang bumper. I'll try to see if I can record it soon.
WideScreen
you forgot paramount feature presentation.
That ones the scariest of all
***** It seems telling by the video title that it was a general topic not company based if that makes any sense.
RATE AND COMMENT GUYS. Thanks!
