Notice how from when they first lock eyes, Dylan and Kelly can barely take their eyes off each other. They always gave this couple their all, and with each other they always did their best work. It would have been worth to pay Jason Priestley a truck load of money to come back just for that scene and see the look on Kelly's face to see Brandon, Dylan and Matt at the one time he could tag Dylan in as he walks out lol.
Brandon was a kind man, way more intelligent, compassionate and helpful. Dylan is a typical bad boy brooding all the time. There is no comparison with Brendon. Brendon made lives of people better which is why he was respected and admired by people. Hell, what is special about Dylan apart from screwing girls and relying on his trust fund? Brandon was a scholar, tv news director, writer, college president, part of elite academic program advisory, an athelete, an heartthrob and much more. Forget about 90210, Brandon was probably the most dynamic and charismatic character of all Tv shows.
What great moment, miss this show the new one sucked , wish they made a new show with the old stars now as adults raising their kids so many more stories to tell since most of them are rich anyway!
They also wanted Shannen Doherty back, and to bring Brenda and Dylan back together. However, Shannen chose to do the new show, Charmed, instead. Hence why we got Dylan and Kelly by default.

Dylan was able to keep most of the women on the show addicted to him like crack. He wasn't that fun of a guy to be around in a day to day relationship because he was always dealing with some issue and could be very moody and self absorbed at times. But he gave them the excitement and emotional highs and lows that young women love. They couldn't live with him and they couldn't live without him. Lol.
sure it was the actor but also the character lol.. like tbh I think Steve had more chemistry with the women than Brandon.. it wasn't the actor it was the character... really needed to make Brandon more interesting lol
