First let me say CONGRATULATIONS To you ! you Changing your life , getting sober and starting fresh has not only impacted your life but it’s also impacting the lives of so many people every time you share your story! Each and every day that goes by that you don’t pick up a drink is another step towards greatness. Your rewards are three gorgeous kids a beautiful wife, and a life that you have built for yourself that many want and even envy. I congratulate you on all your achievements and accomplishments from getting sober to helping others now with your speeches and podcast etc. On a side note the story you shared with us when you told your friend “I’m just 35 “ reminds me of the video that got you guys going viral the “ I’m just onr minute older “video that the girls did when they were practically babies. Keep up the great work❣️👏🏽 👍🏽
The battle is the LORD's. We work momentous toward better, which is always commendable, but never exclusively on our own strength. Both faith and strength are gifted. It's Christ Who has conquered the world. We do need inner impetus and consciousness our decisions. But every blessing; help; strengthening turnaround within the inner-man to be a conqueror, is inherited Royally by the blood of Christ who victoriously provided the route from second-death. Work hard, turn from bad, sellf-acknowledge; persevere! But, at the end of it all, we only even have BREATH, by the measureless grace of our God, Creator. We are to do less self-seeking for worldliness which is fallen and finite--and pick up glorification of God. Thats in general, not concerning the beauty of vanquished addiction. We entertain so much in this world, regardless of how unimaginable; we should appreciate the availability of everlasting life, and pass the gift on to those we truly love, to love them entirely. Justin's accomplishment of tenured sobriety is great blessing. Availability to love and be loved has opened up. There's much more love--the unsearchable kind--to be treasured in faith and honor, both here and beyond! The hubris and apathy of stubbornness to even consider Holy knowledge and and Soverign history, is our worst and most selfishly destructive human habit. ❤ ✝️ 🤍
My mom just celebrated her 10 years sober I threw her a party. Her friends asked me why I made such a big deal about it. Its because the day my mom got sober was the best day of MY life.
anybody who asks why someone would celebrate or make a big deal of anyone’s sobriety (but especially a loved one) has never had a love one battle addiction + damm sure never battled it themself. lucky them.
I think Justin's openness about his substance abuse is very important, especially for your kids. A lot of people assume that people use substances because of peer pressures, but really it has much more to do with personal problems, depression and anxiety, and we need to teach kids life skills to cope with those things. My grandfather and father are both alcoholics and I would have gone down the same path if it wasn't for my Christian faith.
I'm a huge fan of yours Justin and have written many times letting know what an amazing father and husband u are to your precious Family. So admirable of u to share your story with us.
Thanks for sharing your testimony, it is powerful. I am not an addict but i have a monster of a battle with my mental health and currently unemployed that makes it feel like it is over but this encouraged me that it will get better, it'll be well
I totally understand what you mean. I did the same thing before I stop smoking cigarettes. I finished smoking a pack of cigarettes one day, then I said I'm going to stop smoking tomorrow. And I have not picked up a cigarette since, that was in 1994.
"I am just 35". What a powedul statement. Thank you for sharing! For what it's worth I found that EMDR therapy helps a lot to stop the negative downward spiral that can be triggered by heart break. Leaves more room for effective thinking and healing.
💔Proud of you Justin. Endorcing your stregnth, courage and the work you clearly have done through your journey to recovery. Keep up the good work. You are worth it sir.
Awesome testimony! WoW! Thank you for sharing that Justin. Soo many people need to hear that they should NEVER give up. You bring so much joy to so many people incl.me & your teaching the world how to raise good children in these crazy times we live in. Keep up the great work! Blessing to you!
I luv this. Your just 35. Tomorrow just do 1 thing, stop drinking alcohol. That's amazing how your life changed after being sober for 1 yr you me Ami and your life totally 180d!
You guys don't mention this channel nearly enough on your other channels. I watch your other channels and I stumbled upon this channel. The videos are great and so relatable. My only complaint is that they are so short though. As soon as I get invested in the convo, boom its over and I'm left trying to hear the last couple words as your voice trails off.
This was really amazing to hear, I wish it was longer 😢. 6 years in October, but I love listening to others testimonies and their insight on addiction I always learn something! Ty for sharing 💓
I like this channel. Grown up conversations and issues. Yes. I'm here. Checking in. About to binge on the other. I like that "one thing" challenge. That hit.
Thank you make it over the other side of like. you a brave to share in a world we living people are afraid of letting others knows about their pass. because people use it against them thank you for sharing i pray someone will listen to you who is trying to turn their life around. and know you did it and they can do it to God bless you.
Ami you’re a good woman. You must have a strong marriage to be so supportive of him speaking about his ex. Thank you Justin for your detailed life story. It was part of the journey to your destination. All things happen with a purpose for them happening.
It took adulting for you to get it rig. So please understand your children will be ok. They have two wonderful, strong parents guiding and teaching them. When they don't do the right things, their just being kids. They will do right in a few years.
U just saying ur just 35 is ok. Life is not a competition and people need to realise that . U still had ur life to live . People have money and everything and r very still much miserable. U just being 35 and still being young and healthy to make right choices was ok . U made some wrong choices earlier in life and decided to change. If 35 was the age for u start making better decisions for u then thats ok. Once again life is not a competition.
My life at 35 wasn't the life I was wanting to be living. That was the point of it. While life isn't a competition, life is about being happy and I wasn't truly happy.
Always remember that YOU are BIGGER than your battles. Your FUTURE is ALWAYS worth changing today for!
👍💖💖😊😊😊
