Love it!💗 what is the lip bib thing Ritchie is wearing? Is it for cribbing? Hugs and love to Z, Normy, and Dopps! It’s nice to see winter all night T/O. That never happened in Ohio, where I used to live. We do it in Maine. It makes more sense for the horses sanity. Love your dedication even in the winter!! Get it girl!😍💓🙏
It’s called a poly flex bib and we just attached it to a breakaway halter ! www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=22a9b891-44bf-4161-8ce8-e43dd219cc99&itemguid=9d9ee140-8982-4c1e-b609-f9303c888fc4&sfb=1&grp=4000&grpc=4A00&grpsc=4AA0&sp=e&ccd=IFH003&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA0bWvBhBjEiwAtEsoW8VjhdBRYMu7oINde7Gh7iiCHXYYbHdohpKStdYawxwgGZKCsS-mMRoCkYEQAvD_BwE
Great question!! It may sound silly but I really let the horses tell me what they need when they move into my barn. Some of the older guys do better on night or 24/7 turnout to keep their joints moving and some of the younger or more energetic horses do better on night turnout to not have “cooped up” energy! lol my gut is always more turnout the better! That being said some laid back horses with a more calm demeanor can do day turnout. And Z swaps back and forth depending on his level of work !
Ps- great thrifting!!🎉🎉🎉

How do you decide which horses are on night turnout vs day?
