Not going to lie or inflate your ego but you have the most exciting new RC channel out there and I watch a lot. Everyone has a niche and yours is definitely “bulletproofing”. Keep it up! After I finish my shredder mod you for kaiju is next. Keep it up man! You are filling a need/want that hasn’t been filled until now! Big fan!
THANK YOU! Jonathan you got me a little choked up on that comment. 😢 Thank you so much for your support for the kind words for the motivation. It’s hard for people to see how much work goes into these videos on this side. It’s pretty common for me to spend 10 or 12 hours a day building researching bashing filming and editing. It makes it all worthwhile when I hear a comment like that. I humbly thank you for being here. I will never forget this comment and will use it for fuel when I get discouraged. Sometime you hear the right thing at the right time to carry on. I’m so glad you’re BULLETPROOFING your Shredder it will be the best upgrade you’ll ever do on that RC. BULLETPROOFING the Kaiju will bring you the same success. I’m still trying to find a failure point in my BULLETPROOFED Redcat differentials. I’m proud to put my name on the process! Thank you again Jonathan! 🤙🏼☢️
@@RadioactiveRC it’s very obvious you put serious time and love into these videos! I appreciate your kind words but you are the one giving back to the RC community. I wish you much success and hopefully at some point this can be a paid full time gig for you. You have great energy, clearly communicate what to do, and just very entertaining. Looking forward to what comes next brother! 😃👍🏻😃
Big fan of the channel! Just now bought that motor heat sink and fan combo you have, as my single fan setup is not quite getting the motor cool enough. I must say though, I think I will set mine up to have the top fan be the exhaust, and the side fan pulling the air onto the motor. Heat rises, so it makes more sense in my head to vent that top heat away from the motor, and use the side fan as the intake, but I guess we will see! Been rocking my Kaiju since 2021, and upgrading, testing, bashing, and otherwise just optimizing whatever I can on this rig to make her as durable as I can. I have enough spare parts to build another Kaiju, just without the electronics. I hate waiting for spares! Your channel goes a lot deeper than others, and you cover all the points of interest in detail, and I truly appreciate that. Thanks for what you do, and keep up the great work!
What’s up 3Y3ECE thanks for this great comment! It’s comments like your that keep me motivated to keep solving RC problems. Thank you so much for the kind words and good luck with your heat sink experiment. It’s experimentation that keeps innovating the hobby. The Kaiju is one of my favorites and I will always have one in my collection. Did you see todays video out on the Shredder? Crazy build brother! Thanks for being here and supporting the channel it means a lot! 🤙🏼☢️
Thanks for watching! It started when I biffed on the concrete and shaved down the top of the body. I wanted to fix it and make sure it wouldn’t happen again. After this home made fix I have no worries when driving it on pavement. Kaiju is a beast with 6s in that price point it puts it ahead of the pack. Thanks for being here supporting the channel! 🤙🏼☢️
What’s up RickyDRC1968 welcome to the channel! The Kaiju is one of my best bashers! Lots more action coming from this RC this Summer. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! 🤙🏼☢️
Thanks for watching and for being here noob! I remember when you joined the channel. Thanks! That Shredder really is some thing! I have some new videos coming out and I think I found the nastiest set of 24mm tires to ever roll on an RC. I don’t wanna spoil it but it’s a new beadlocked technology that is just rolling out. We will see if they can hold up to the dual motor Super Shredder! We are hitting some phenomenal speeds off road. Redcat fans will be shocked! BULLETPROOFED diffs still holding strong. 🤙🏼☢️
Thanks for watching brother! This is one bad RC after you go through it in the right places. I have a sweet spot in my heart for Redcats. Check out my custom Shredder videos. Guaranteed to blow your mind! Thanks for being here! It means a lot. 🤙🏼☢️
I have the 1st gen Kaiju and have broken both rear cups..then after having it for almost 2 years I finally ran it on 6s and shredded the Plastic spur. Changed that over to A metal one Also added a dual fan set up on the motor since that bad boy gets a lil toasty. Only ran 2 full packs since owning it 7200 Gens Ace Hardcase
Thanks for watching JOE-MURPHY’S LIFE! The Kaiu is an amazing machine it just has a couple plastic pieces in the wrong spots. If you changed the plastic spur gear to a metal one you absolutely have to remove the pinion mesh set screw or your motor is on borrowed time. Honestly I rarely run the Kaiju on 6S because on 4s it’s a monster. Im doing a video on fan efficiency where I’m going to be using water vapor to show you how to better set up your fans. It’s all on how you exhaust the motor heat. 🤙🏼☢️
I like this series. I don't even have a Shredder but I've always thought I'll get one sooner or later and before that thing gets an initial run, I'm going to your series on it. I've recommended it to anyone else I hear who has a Shredder. It should be basically required. :)
Thanks for watching Steve and thanks for the kind words! The Shredder is amazing it just needs some after market tuning. The BULLETPROOFING method is the way to go for sure to get the most “Smiles per hour” out of your Redcat. Thanks for your support and recommendation it means a lot. I have worked really hard on the Redcat lineup mainly the Kaiju and the Shredder working all the bugs out. Thanks for being here Steve and good luck with your future build! 🤙🏼☢️
Sweet video bro. 😎 That's 1 redcat I don't have. And I'd love to have. Great pointers to toughen up that truck... as you know I modify everything lol. I'm working on my hpi savage now. Got a big red motor. Working all the kinks out now. 👍
What’s up Wallys rc World! If you don’t have the Kaiju in your collection you’re missing out! I love this RC and picked it out specifically because it had a plastic chassis a center differential and 6S power. It’s a rare combination in today’s RC market and in my opinion one of the top two bashers of all time. Thanks for the comment and being here Wally! Im looking forward to the HPI videos 🤙🏼☢️
@@RadioactiveRC one can only afford so many rc,s. . Lol. I still want to get a gas 1/5 scale some day. Tomorrow I'll be breaking in this brand new bigred .28 bigblock nitro. I still need tires and a body.. but getting there. I have my redcat mt8e and it's a lot like the kaiju. I got batteries charged to run that Tomorrow aswell. It's a wheelie machine. Kaiju twin lol. Rock on bro ✌😎
The Kaishu motor is 6mm to wide in diameter to work on the Shredder motor mount. If you have the aftermarket motor mount it will fit. Your Shredder is BULLETPROOFED so put whatever motor you want on it diffs won’t care. I would avoid the 1/5 scale motors because the chassis being so thin at the motor mounts will not handle the torque very well. I’m using the Landslide 1900 KV motor on the 2wd 2 speed Shredcat and its loving it! 🤙🏼☢️

@@RadioactiveRC hello maybe you can help me out I have 3s armor line which means that as a front diff and the rear diff and what I want it to do is I want to be able to power steer out of corners like using the gas to turn or power slide out of corners if you know what I'm saying what thickness oils do I need in my front and rear diff to achieve this kind of driving
I can absolutely help with that! Loose for fun and Tight for race. It sounds like you want your RC set up loose for fun. When you’re running loose you want the rear of the RC to be able to kick out and oversteer. For that I would use 30k/30k on dirt or 50k/50k on grass and concrete. The negative to this is the RC tends to roll easier in a turn. When you’re running tight for racing you want the tires to stick to the surface through the turn. For that I use 30k front 7k in back. This allows for the rear tires to provide power through the turn less aggressively. The front tires pull more keeping you straight. Less power but more control. The first way is more power less control. Hope this helps! 🤙🏼☢️
