    I’m from Los Angeles and we just had an Hurricane and earthquake at the same time, unheard of 😮! But one thing for sure My God will never leave me nor forsake me, through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus and depend upon His word!

    Don’t forget the option of staying in a hotel if the weather becomes too crazy, there’s no shame in being safe.
    All of my life i’ve heard that if you’re on the road in a vehicle, and you encounter a tornado that you should “pull off to the side and get (your body) into a ditch”. I don’t feel warm and fuzzy about doing that personally!

      This is what people were told to do in the old days! Just like pulling over and taking shelter under a small overpass/ bridge. That's a huge no to both of these. A tornado could easily pick someone up. It's better to be indoors and hunker down.

    That’s how I felt in Irma coming from California. Go to a parking structure at a hospital. They will let you park on the level before the top. Be safe out there. Pray 🙏🏾 and trust GOD and be still. He got you.

    If I were you, I would get a second opinion regarding the new battery and new solar pads. Go to a custom place, not Thor. They aren’t that great. You should not have to go through this with the fridge. Good luck with this issue. God bless you. Prayers from Miami

    Hi Nomi. I hope you find an RV place that specializes in the care that your RV needs, especially with your refrigerator thawing out. I hope you find a solution to the battery issue. I can see why so many people choose to alter their vans to fit their needs, as these factory rv's aren't the best. I hope you find a good solution! Stay safe! God Bless.

    We’re in Southfield. Depending upon where you were in Michigan, I think you probably shouldn’t have ridden the storm out. The alarm went off and we had to go to our basement & we could still hear it roaring by for about 20 minutes. Terrifying. We lost power for 2 days as did about 200,000 in metro Detroit. We’re blessed with a whole house generator so we were not inconvenienced that way. But it was a bad, bad storm. Flooding & flash flooding everywhere. Next time, please take shelter you may not be so fortunate. Nothing to gamble on.

    Oh, Miss Nomad, I’m so sad that you had to be in that terribly scary storm. My heart goes out to you. In life, being scared/terrified is the worst. I was slightly comforted when you showed out the window that there were several vehicles near you, at least you weren’t completely alone. I thought so hard about what I would do in such a situation. Maybe if you know a storm is predicted, you could stealth park in a hotel lot and if it started getting bad you could go inside and rent a room. I guess if you’re not watching a local news channel, you might not be aware of an impending storm though. I do think awareness is important in this situation. Anyhoo, you were brave and made it through. Your taco cheeseburger looks interesting. I’m going to have to check that out. Stay safe. ☮️

    I truly believe the weather is crazy because of the weather modifications. Natures systems have a natural function and when it is being messed with, that’s not a good combo. I’m glad you’re safe. As a Floridian, I know the feeling of being stuck in storms like that. Can be super scary!

    • @girlanonymous
      @girlanonymous 10 місяців тому

      Climate change and global warming…the alarm has been sounded for decades. Cloud seeding happens in some states but Michigan isn’t one of them. At my estimation, nothing’s being “messed with” unless you’re talkjng about by the Lord God Almighty himself..lol.

    Hi Nomi - I'm so glad you are ok after that weather the other night. Those sirens were signaling a tornado warning. You should sign up on your phone for a radar services that will move with you and give you warnings. I like Radar Omega. It's $9.99 per year and will travel with you. Uses GPS so it will know your exact location and can give you weather warnings and alerts. There is also Radar Scope which I believe is the same price. Both have radar and warnings but lots of other info too and they're easy to use. God bless!

    Hey! If possible, ma ke ice in used, clean water bottles with tight lids. Keep at least one or two in your freezer. They don't leak if they melt, and they do help keep things cold. Sometimes if your freezer is too full, it will not function as well, especially if it has a fan/vent in the back or side of it. It helps to keep things away from that area. 🙂

    ❤ So happy you are safe. The storm was super scary…😳. Our storm here in the California desert did a lot of damage. It was downgraded to a tropical storm and not a hurricane. We could literally see the wind change direction by the movement of the palm trees in our community. Palm trees snapped toward the tops all over the main highway, the flooding and damage in low lying areas was awful. I’m sure some people will find it hard to recover from this natural disaster. Living alone as a female can be scary, when you hear a noise or some stranger knocks on your door. Natural disasters are a whole other can of worms. It can make you feel so alone and helpless no matter who you are. 🫣⛈️ The world sure is changing

    I'm glad you made it through the storms. You are right, the weather is crazy and pretty unpredictable everywhere. Also, you made me hungry. I'll have to try that taco burger tomorrow!

    We get this weather in Utah all the time. It's nothing to us. We had that storm, the crazy wind, rain. Sometimes, even snow, blackout, etc etc. The only thing that we get here are tornadoes
