I wonder why the Mattel company didn’t gave bash and dash that giant gear infront and that small siderod wheel above the driving wheels

1. These characters were created long before Mattel took over.
2. Either way, Mattel doesn’t do animation, it was Nitrogen Studios in this case.
3. The gears at the front would obstruct their faces and distract to much.
4. The small siderods go through the cab.
