Beechwold was never part of Clintonville.My dad sold these houses in late 40's/early 50's when the smaller houses were new.Most of Columbus had the same time gap with house building as Beechwold.Westgate is another example of that.
You are correct John, Beechwold has never been part of Clintonville. My father and grandfather had a very successful residential landscaping company from the '40s through the '70s (and then Dad made it a commercial landscaping company) and some of their best and longest, most faithful costumers over all those decades were in Beechwold. If they were alive today, both Dad and Grandpa would back up your comments. They always said, Beechwold was never part of Clintonville, even back then.
