Thank for another fabulous video Neville. The time you invest in filming and producing the final finished video does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Thank you!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Another informative and interesting video Nev, thank you. And well done Dave for his 10k run on Sunday and all the money he and his friends raised for the St Barnabas Hospice.
'nuther great video Neville! Thanks very much for all your hard work getting these superb updates out to us! It's also great to see how well Dave flew the Lanc around the 10k and the money that was raised.
Thanks for another fantastic video Neville. I am amazed that the dingy panel manages to be held in (most of the time) against the low pressure airflow.
I remember visiting the museum in 1994. I got a tour from Fred. When I offered a 10 pound note for a look inside the Lanc, Fred said sure. He unlocked the side door and handed me the old "skeleton" key and said "lock up when you're done". I investigated every square inch of that beauty then promptly went over to their restaurant and got the worst case of food poisoning from the fish and chips. 😂 Fred was a good man, not too sure of his cook though.
Thanks for the great update Neville. It was really interesting to hear more about the rescue dinghy. Well done to Dave on the lincoln 10K and the money he raised. Good to see Janes nose art being applied. Lovely to hear all the noise in the hanger. All the guys working away. What a splendid job they are doing. Thank you Neville for all the time and effort that you put into these updates for us to view each week and I am looking forward to the next one. Best wishes to you and all the guys at the centre. 👍
Another great update Neville thank you. Most interesting to hear about the rescue dinghy. Well done to Dave well done on the Lincoln 10K and the money raised. Nice job on Janes nose art. Well done again to all the team. Looking forward to your next update Neville thank you.
Cracking video Nev once again, but a massive WELL DONE to Dave not only a hero in the work he is doing on "Just Jane" but all of the runs he does making money for for his charity.
They are doing quite a excellent job in working on the different item for the Lancaster. Nice to see, that a fellow countryman (i am Dutch, too) is helping out. I have a question, and I hope, you might answer this (ina future video will also do): someone is painting the 'Nose-art of Just Jane. Does it get a coat of varnish (or something else) to protect it from the weather elements? Thank in advance. Keep updting the progress. I follow it every new update. It's all quite interesting. You learn a lot about how this airplane fits together.
Beautiful video . . . thank you. The part at the end, what was the question/part about which you were inquiring ? His answer didn’t reveal the question. Thank you.
There was a Halifax cockpit section on display at East Kirkby last time I was there, is it still on display? The reason I ask is that I think the Dutch guy in the vid is the guy who built it, an amazing individual project.
Might sound silly here but, have the RAF Museum lended any drawings? I know S Sugar is a BI & JJ is a later model Lanc but I wonder if they got any later Lancaster drawings
So pardon me but many videos ago i remember on one of your videos it was said the only place they could get a certain material that they would need was from the Ukraine,is this a now replacement ? Again Nev many thanks for all of your updates. Take care mate.

Thanks for another fantastic video Neville. I am amazed that the dingy panel manages to be held in (most of the time) against the low pressure airflow.
Perhaps the compartment which holds the shoot ok when new,the seals weaken with different air pressure over time.

Isn’t that business about the dinghy fascinating. And it was accidentally deployed while landing at Biggin Hill! Holy Mackerel Neville!
It wasn’t deployed on landing, it was accidentally deployed as the crew were disembarking the aircraft after arriving at Biggin Hill.
Wupps!
There was a Halifax cockpit section on display at East Kirkby last time I was there, is it still on display? The reason I ask is that I think the Dutch guy in the vid is the guy who built it, an amazing individual project.
Not sure were the cockpit has gone,I will check up on this.
Are the squeeze rivets strong enough to be airworthy or are all the airworthy rivets the ones they use the pneumatic rivet gun for ?
The section that Dennis is working on a non airworthy section of NX664. So squeeze rivets are fine for the job.
Might sound silly here but, have the RAF Museum lended any drawings? I know S Sugar is a BI & JJ is a later model Lanc but I wonder if they got any later Lancaster drawings
Hi Rich not sure about the drawings, but the use some from BBMF.

Hi Mike I guess it will have to come from the USA.
