When I read 'Kaito V1' my brain said 'oh no'. Then just the first few notes hit me hard holy shit. How do you do this? A shame Vocaloid "producers" can't make him sound this good. It just shows they don't care enough to take the time to make him sound truly great. Which actually brings a question to my mind. If you were ever offered a job tuning these guys would you take it?
Most vocaloid producers use his V3 which is differently pitched (aka Kermit Kaito) but back in the olde days with his V1 and V2 was it easier to make him not sound like Kermit as the pitch in the voice samples were slightly different. I’ve been too long around...

Kaito's V1 Voice Samples are not bad at all! The problem was Vocaloid 1 itself, its way of processing notes made him sound really robotic, so that's why he sounds muuuch better in UTAU.
