@@LucyLerma V1 isnt supported on a lot of computers anymore and is harder to find online to purchase. the only reason it sounds good here is because it was ported into utau and tuned well. which inherently isnt illegal as long as it isnt distributed to other people

When I read 'Kaito V1' my brain said 'oh no'. Then just the first few notes hit me hard holy shit. How do you do this? A shame Vocaloid "producers" can't make him sound this good. It just shows they don't care enough to take the time to make him sound truly great. Which actually brings a question to my mind. If you were ever offered a job tuning these guys would you take it?
Most vocaloid producers use his V3 which is differently pitched (aka Kermit Kaito) but back in the olde days with his V1 and V2 was it easier to make him not sound like Kermit as the pitch in the voice samples were slightly different.

Tbh if V1 Kaito is tuned well he sounds way better than all of his later voicebank versions

Tho OSTER Project used Kaito and Meiko V2 is On The Rocks, it's one the only (if not the only) who uses Kaito and Meiko V2
So yea theirs V2 are "private" but i think they used the same recording in their V3, so if you import Kaito V3 into V2 you'll probably get the same result

Kaito's V1 Voice Samples are not bad at all! The problem was Vocaloid 1 itself, its way of processing notes made him sound really robotic, so that's why he sounds muuuch better in UTAU.
