Kb southern started marching with bones trumpets etc. Doc started that in 1985 because we had 52 bones and they was drowning out everybody so he separated bones to balance the sound. Just a little history from ex juke.

Best place to hear Southern's band during Mardi Gras is the St. Charles overpass. The acoustic is 🔥🔥🔥. Makes your soul tremble.

What people fail to realize is the fall Juke band was Majority Freshmen! They can only go up this fall! They killing it this parade season so far.
Same with JSU so what's the problem. IF JSU can do it, SU can too. Don't try to move the goalpost my guy.
@@KBThaBandhead What did my comment have to do with JSU KB? Lol I was speaking on Southern brotha. We know JSU was better than SU this year we know this past year was a down year for SU. We know this. Hell JSU was just the better band in the SWAC this year def better than Txsu that’s for sure. But again why can’t we talk about SU without JSU being brought up it’s like one thing about SU, JSU gotta be brought up in the convo and vice versa. Im focused on the band that you posted and that was SU.

Yeah I ain't trying to hear that freshman excuse, SU kept they core band and added to it, I have a few students in the band there and JSU. Majority of my seniors 5 went to Valley.

SU IS THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD 🌎 FACTS 💯💯💯💯
SU has a consistent great sound. The 2023 football season was just marred with bad song selection and arrangements that did not favor the band.
I can count on my fingers how many songs I liked from Su last season, I love Su but they didn’t bring them arrangements that stick to you like , bad to the bone , hey , tomorrow and classical and some more. This year season 2024 I wanna hear some 🔥🔥🔥
