2023 update: ua-cam.com/video/P4r-i7wnAvU/v-deo.html
For everyone commenting about how the older stuff doesn’t get as many listens, u gotta remember that they were released long before Spotify. If we took into account records and cds then the list would look a lot different
bro like most of their catalog was released before spotify
@@michaeldoughty906 Yeah but AI has 4 huge singles, 21CB was released at the beginning of the streaming era an still had 2 big hits with 21 Guns and KYE
Not me just realizing how underrated af the whole insomniac album is.
Except for Brain Stew, it's true. I agree.
@@gabrielpaiva9070 yea
My favorite off the album is brat and walking contradiction
@@Kee23383i love stuart and the ave
Also remember this is just Spotify and doesn’t include cds or vinyls
Nightlife has more plays than both Haushinka and Panic Song, that's sad.
AND STRANGELAND WHY
Panic song is one of their best songs musically
@@frankiemazzei8882 panic song is unbelievable
Haishinka rocks the fuck out. All Nimrod fans know what this means…
Nimrod is underplayed.
And yeah. That fact about trilogy songs being higher than Nimrod is kinda surprising, but maybe more obvious once you really start to think about it..
Damn, I didn’t know viva la Gloria little girl was so popular. It’s one of my favorite Green Day songs.
Same! It's my favourite from 21CB. Glad it's this popular.
409 In Your Coffemaker being so low is sad. Thats one of the best songs off of the 1039 Compilation, same with 16.
I might’ve listened to the Dookie mix of 409 about a million and a half time. I’m every listen lol
I prefer Disappearing Boy or The Only One I Want but yea Coffeemaker and 16 are brilliant
I love only of you and 409
Kinda sucks that 39/smooth doesn't get much recognition, I think its a great blend of old school punk with that high energy DIY feel. A solid start for Green Day overall
No one knows, tight was hill are underrated honestly the whole Kerplunk album is.
Can we talk about strangeland?
Agreed! But Tight Wad Hill is from Insomniac, not Kerplunk! :)
@@pinnkkplaysdrums that why she said and the kerplunk album
Kerplunk was my fav album of them for years, now i have a weird fight of Kerplunk vs Nimrod in first place, i can't decide
Kerplunk is one of my favourites. Totally agree
Im shocked hold on is warnings least popular, that ones so good
insomniac is my favorite green day album
Awesome album
I’m pleasantly surprised by how high revolution radio is. One of my favorite songs.
the transition from lazy bones to wild one still one of favorites
Why is westbound sign so underrated
Criminal that so much of the older stuff gets less traffic than the trilogy
The trilogy had sooo many money behind (and a big hype after American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown), and also the 3 albums were released on Spotify. Older stuff "lost reproductions" because the peaks of them were before Spotify
@@_KikeSanhueza I am the lawyer of the devil and I Will say that the trilogy is not so bad as they say ,at least we can allí agree that is better than father of all motherfuckers
Just here to say that Westbound Sign is one of the best Green Day songs period
That’s my personal favorite Green Day song.
kerplunk is the most underrated green day album
knowledge being so low is so funny…they play it every show 😭
@Puck i know that…they still play it every show
Cuz it's a good simple song for a fan to be able to play. They bring a fan on stage for that one
I really don't like how Spotify paired up most of the songs from American Idiot, I feel like Letterbomb and St Jimmy would've ranked higher. What's even weirder is they didn't do that with Brain Stew/Jaded and they were both released as a single and marketed together
Such a great work, thank you!
my favourite song is She, and this video proves even more they should play it live!!
also, Stuart and the ave. and See the light are criminally underrated!! can't believe see the light is least listened to 21cb song.
and from the oldies, I just love paper lanterns and one of my lies.
I could go on and write an essay about how much I value most of these albums but you get the point
Same for Peacemaker and East Jesus Nowhere. Both are also highly underrated.
The time you will have taken making this video, NICEEE ❗❗♥️♥️
#124 criminally underrated 😕😕😕😕😕😕
Fuck. Wow! Thats loud is one of the most played Green Day songs in my house :D
paper lanterns is my favorite song and its just crazy how it is so low
My favorite song is at #162. Crazy. Those first three albums remind me so much of high school in the mid 90s.
based favourite song
mine is #89th :6
Going to Pasalacqua being sandwiched between 2 horrible songs is such a shame, so many great Green Day songs are overlooked to the point it is sad
The fact 1039 and Kerplunk songs are so unpopular demonstrates once again how people suck.
That’s because Green Day’s fans from the new Millennium are posers and only like the Poppy commercial stuff. I’m actually embarrassed to admit I like Green Day because of how opposite their music when. They use to be badass
80 is my favorite Green Day song and it’s sad to see how low it is on the list. Along with Dookie and Nimrod, Kerplunk is in my top 3
this is underrated!
Stuck with me definitely underrated
crazy that song of the century is higher than see the light 😂😂😂
Rest is my favorite song of theirs...
It hurts to see all those father of all/trilogy songs above 39 smooth and kerplunk
Father of all and trilogy they were born in the Spotify era, thats why
@@ozkebic also they had a lot of money behind, the singles were everywhere at the moment
Not all of the trilogy is bad; it's just songs like \Nightlife,\ \Lady Cobra,\ and \F*** Time\ that ruin it. The album actually has lots of good songs on it-they're just not that popular
hold on is so good
As a massively big Green Day fan here's is my personal opinion:
Jackass should be higher.
Panic Song should be higher.
Nighlife should be higher.
Stab You In The Heart should be lower.
Brat should be higher.
Sugar Youth should be higher.
Governator should be WAY higher. Instant bopper.
Church On Sunday should be higher.
Platypus (I Hate You) should be WAY higher than that. Seriously, it's such a headbanger.
Shoplifter should be higher.
Fuck Time should be lower.
Lazy Bones should be higher.
Christian's Inferno should be higher.
Too Much Too Soon should be higher.
Stay The Night should be higher.
The Grouch should be higher.
Meet Me On The Roof should be WAY higher.
All By Myself should be higher.
2000 Light Years Away should be higher.
Geek Stink Breath should be higher.
Peacemaker should be higher.
Stuck With Me should be higher. For the third time, an instant headbanger.
Redundant should be higher. I consider it a very relatible song (though I have no relation with the song).
Jaded should be higher.
99 Revolutions should be lower.
East Jesus Nowhere should be higher.
Walking Contradiction should be a smudge higher.
Viva La Gloria should be higher.
Fire Ready Aim should be a tiny bit higher.
Youngblood should be higher. Kind of repetitive but a cool song nonetheless.
Macy's Day Parade should be a little bit higher.
Nice Guys Finish Last should be a smudge higher.
Kill The DJ is deservingly high.
Waiting should a tiny little bit higher.
Extraordinary Girl and Letterbomb should be a bit higher.
Oh Yeah is deservingly high.
21st Century Breakdown is deservingly high.
Father Of All...is deservingly high.
Homecoming is deservingly high. The song's a masterpiece.
Warning is deservingly high.
Oh Love is deservingly high.
Hitchin A Ride should be a tiny bit higher. Also loved the transition.
Whatsername is deservingly high.
Give Me Novocaine and She's A Rebel are deservingly high.
Minority is deservingly high. A bit overrated, but still a good song.
Bang Bang is deservingly high.
Know Your Enemy is deservingly high.
Still Breathing is deservingly high.
Brain Stew is deservingly high. Repetitive and simple but in a good way so the song is good.
Jesus Of Suburbia is deservingly high. Like Homecoming, it's a masterpiece.
Holiday is deservingly high.
21 Guns is deservingly high.
Good Riddance is deservingly high.
Boulevard Of Broken Dreams is deservingly high. One of my favourite Green Day songs.
American Idiot is deservingly high. Overrated as fuck, but an amazing song anyway.
That's all. 😊
I agree with them all besides for meet me on the roof I personally don't really care for that song too much.
what a ride
are we gonna talk about how extraordinary girl/letterbomb is last in american idiot? i cant believe that
I wholeheartedly agree Basket Case is number one by far. However, the albums Dookie, Nimrod and Warning were the sweet spot for Green Day, and those songs should be higher on the list…
Dry Ice at 174 ??? It's one of my favorite song ever
Muy infravalorado el Warning
Armatage Shanks is so underrated
cool transition to hitchin' a ride
agreed
Agreed, also the transition to Longview.
My favorite Green Day song (platypus) is in the middle, come on
I've watched a couple of your videos ... I feel that you should give songs from the internet era a X2... there's no way anything past "American Idiot" is so high
You should do Weezer
Restless heart syndrome is top 5 for me
paper lanterns is a banger
The Judges daughter is 176, I love that song
Everything 1997 and before besides the Dookie album is criminally criminally underrated and it’s an awful shame.
I believe they only counted half my going to pasalacqua listens.
1,000 being that low is disrespectful
heres the updated version :D
ua-cam.com/video/P4r-i7wnAvU/v-deo.html
I expected Stuck With Me to be higher, more underrated than I thought. 😔😔😔
I think Nightlife only has so many plays because everyone goes to see how bad it is-
Ok stop, just stop
Is num 11 Welcome to Paradise a remaster of num 104?
Yes it is. First one was on their second album kerplunk, third was on their breakthrough album, Dookie, it was their first album signed to a major label and the sound was much less sloppy and it sounds better on Dookie.
It’s not a remaster. It’s a new recording of the song.
@@geoschilling I think it sounds better on Kerplunk but maybe I think that way because I heard that version first.
How is Hold On the least played Warning song??
im sad haushinka is so low its my fave green day song
take back is so low its sad
like even nightlife is higher wtf
I'm surprised knowledge is so low, being that is a live staple
Overrated: Holiday
Underrated: Prosthetic Head
Favorite: Welcome To Paradise or Macy’s Day Parade
Edit: I’ve actually started to enjoy Holiday I would say American Idiot is more overrated
Extremely unbased edit
Most of Green Day’s popular songs are overrated, minus Welcome To Paradise, She, and When I Come Around
American idiot is overrated, yes but it’s an absolute BANGER
My favorite Green Day song is at #127 I thought it would be towards the bottom
My favorite song by them is Longview, I thought it was underated, nope not really
Junkies on a high has somehow passed panic song???
Nah I refuse to believe last ride in can be that high. There’s no way people listen to it. Especially over all those other songs
It’s really sad that the least played father of all song has more plays than the majority of slappy hours and kerplunk
Father of all is the worst thing Green Day has ever released by FAR, absolute garbage
@@figu6ka379 very much agreed
its interesting finding you here
How did you find this out?
spotify app on PC shows all plays :p
39/smooth is a good album, why the people dont listen him?
WHY IS TIGHT WAD HILL SO LOW
Going to put all my thoughts into this comment. Please leave your thoughts below on any of my points.. 🎸🤘
Jackass is so so low. Blows my mind people can’t appreciate how raw it is.
Nightlife is higher then soo many good songs, and it blows my mind.
Uno! Is criminally underrated and my mind will never change, Billie joe writes the ear-crawlers Dookie was known for, and people don’t like it. People are too used to their hardcore opera emotional stuff.
All of Nimrod should be a margin higher.
86 should be higher
Graffitia is a terrible FOA song.
I was a teenage teenager is also a terrible song
Sex drugs and violence is at a perfect spot. Nobody talks about it, but it’s one of the best Tre! Songs
Love to see troublemaker as high as it as
Church on Sunday should be higher
Platypus should be higher
Governator is in a good spot. It only gets listened to because it’s on American idiot, easily the worst song on AI.
Castaway is SUPER low
Good to see missing you on Tre! So high
Also great to see misery so high, but it’s not better then castaway
Christians inferno is the worst 21st CBD song by far
Good to see stay the night so high
King for a day is underservably higher then so many other nimrod songs
Meet me on the roof is way to high.
AMAZING to see Amy so high
Good to see bouncing off the walls so high
Good to see peacemaker so high.
Great to see redundant so high
Jaded should be a little lower
In the end should be a lot lower
99 revolutions should be lower
Outlaws should be lower
East Jesus nowhere is very high and I’m happy, instant head banger
Too dumb to die is one of REVRADs best songs
Nuclear family is so high and I love it
Viva La Gloria is deservably high
Not gonna talk about fire ready aims spot
Youngblood is WAY TO HIGH: to repetitive
Macys day parade is in a good spot
Nice to see Nice guys finish last so high
So happy for ordinary world
Kill the Dj is so high I can’t believe it, blows my mind
Letterbomb 😱🫠 should be way higher
Nice to see 21st cbd so high (song)
Warning title track too high
Oh love too high
Hitchin a ride is at a nice spot
Whatsername too love
Great to see revrad title track so high
Great to see minority so high. An anthem
Bang bang so high is AMAZING
know your enemy is too high: repetive
Longview should be higher
Still breathing should be lower
Holiday should be higher
When I come around is good but not better then welcome to paradise
Wake me up when September ends is potentially my favorite song of all time. It makes me cry and the vocal delivery is so perfect
That’s all folks!
Junkies on a High and Stab You In the Heart should be way higher- those two tracks are infinitely better than the rest of the FOAM album.
Hitchin a Ride is not as high as it should be. One of the best Green Day songs, period.
@@beckettmaffei Stab in the Heart chorus riff is almost the same to the Fucktime one, I would replace it with Sugar Youth
@@giulio_0062 ya but stab you in the heart is way better than fuck time
Not a bad opinion. Mine's up top. 🔝 🔝
They didn't do shenanigans
sorry, then I used to only do studio albums but I'm likely going to remake the video in a few months with every song I missed :p
@@imakevideosonyoutube ohhh ok 👍
Tré! Is easily the best one of the trilogy
Good Riddance carried Nimrod.
Minority carried Warning.
There are other songs I like on those two albums and I wished they were appreciated a lot. Though I hate the trilogy in my opinion
Current Green Day fans had shit taste, of course their poppy/non Punk/commercial stuff has the most listens. I love more than a handful of their 90s Punk tunes but Green Day is the only band I’m embarrass to admit I like because their stuff after American Idiot is so bad and American Idiot has too much of a Teen/Emo Pop feel for me to take serious even though tracks like Jesus Of Suburbia and Homecoming are pretty damn impressive.
Green Day first 2 albums are extremely underrated and Dookie is great of course. I haven’t listen to Insomniac fully but that album sounds pretty damn good just from this video alone and last pure Punk album. Nimrod was the start of their downfall, even though Nice Guys Finish Last is my favorite Green Day song(maybe), their last great Punk song they ever did. Also Take Back is very unGreen Day, Metallike, I wish that song was longer and more noticed.
i feel it worsened after 21cbd, love that album alonng with American idiot
ok boomer
#175 is a banger come on
