To anyone wondering if Anna is just a blip, she isn’t. I was born in England, educated here, work here, etc, yet there hasn’t been a year in the last 40+ years that I haven’t been told to “go back to your own country” or other such highbrow words of “endearment”. It hurts. A lot. There isn’t anywhere for us to go, the UK IS our home. Don’t get me wrong, Anna is one of the minority that have such extremist views, but she certainly is NOT a blip.
Sadly, you're right, and it's not getting worse. They've always been there, but for reasons that are getting quite obvious, they think they've more support to spew their views on us.
The bitterness in Anna's heart over her childhood could not be hidden and has followed her into adulthood. Poor, pathetic, bitter and twisted soul. I hope her 9 siblings didn't turn out like her. That would be utterly shameful on her mother.
She got a tenth of the attention of an only child. Now she is bitter and wants people to hurt. More so if they are non-white. What a lovely person!
Neither of my parents had comfortable upbringings . But neither did they grow up with that Lady's bitter and narrow mindset. Makes me wonder if she has kids or grandkids and how she'd deal with them needing free school meals.
She was bitter and envious. I doubt she truly believes the Government should not help parents feed their kids. To her mind, it depends on the colour of the kids.
Sangita demonstrated how she is on another level to the caller, well behaved, composed and able to articulate her message properly.
On the contrary the woman you s re feebly trying to denigrate conducts herself with real working class honour. Your middle class foreign broadcaster fails abysmally to address the real issue which is Muslim and Hindus producing too many children. So much so that they can't feed them.

The publication of these reports was promised by Coffey’s predecessors, following claims that thousands of disabled people had died since the Conservatives came into power in 2010. The true number still isn’t known, but it was found that over 17,000 people died between 2013 and 2019 whilst waiting for decisions to be made over their benefit claims. In 2020, we learned that 5,000 disabled people died still waiting to be reimbursed by the government to the tune of £16m in underpaid benefits

Ok, well, I've listened to what this host had to say. Let me just say this, people who were born and bred in this country are NOT bigoted (well some), but when this country accepts immigrants and we see the level of depravation that is prevalent right now in the UK, is it any wonder why people are angry. A great deal of people have chosen to come to the UK, they haven't settled in France, Germany or anywhere else it seems. They seem to want to only come here. Why? One word ASYLUM. This country simply cannot afford to take any more. Enough is enough. There was a housing shortage back in the 90s. The consequences have been catastrophic. Therefore, British citizens have a right to be annoyed. What is worse, is that asylum seekers get accommodation etc all provided and we have homeless British citizens on the streets. Asian families are living the life of luxury. How is that? When they weren't born here? How are they allowed to own property and buy shops? Where does this money come from? I would like to know because white citizens can't even get on the property ladder it seems. So, there is something absolutely wrong with the British system because in France I bet that immigrants have to work menial jobs which is normally what you have to do when you emigrate. We are definitely too lenient.

As a white man I was nearly in tears seeing what Rashford was doing for hungry kids, it made me proud that he stood up for them. I'll always think fondly of him after that.

@@pubzero and what exactly have you done for the less well off in society?
@Mobile Phone you are the enemy of the British people with your hate and segregation.
This is how this conversation should always go:
"I think it's the parents' responsibility to feed their kids"
"And if they can't/don't, how many children are you okay with starving to death? What would be an acceptable number before you'd be okay with someone helping them?"
It’s a type of jealously.. “I suffered! So so should you!” Combined with ignorance. It’s a dangerous combo
You really shouldn't talk about Sangita Myska that way.
Ah the 19th century in the modern world, don’t you love it?
Explains Jacob Rees Mogg.
The fact that people like "Anna" still exist is a terrible indictment of the state of the country.
One of those forever looking for someone to blame. If it osnt the EU, its folk on dinghies, or it's BLM, or its power companies and their profits, or its do-gooders wanting free meals, or its.......... Just never is it themselves.
Sadly, the Annas exist in enough numbers to keep people like Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage comfortable in their xenophobic brand of politics.
The fact the loony left want others to pay for kids meals is wrong. Dont have kids if you cant afford to feed them.
It is. it's also why we have this Tory government and 2 leadership contenders vying to be more right-wing than the other
@@a1white Funny how you have a problem with right wing but not left wing. How about just be normal and not live in a loony left unicorn world.
Anna is the perfect example of why free school meals for poorer families are vital for the development of cognitive function.
What a nasty piece of work that caller was.
If the caller *really* never had free school meals that means her parents were wealthy.
it doesn't quite add up, does it? 10 kids and no state help.
There are too many 'Anna's in the UK and not enough 'Sangita's. What a dignified response to the literal personification of a dumpster fire.
Too many planks like you I'd say
Mohammed is the most popular boys name in Britain so I guess you are getting what you want.
@109 Countries These must be lovely places to live if they're full of people like Sangita. People in those places must feel very fortunate.
@109 Countries Oh, wait! You were talking about her race?! Oh silly me! Tell me, why did your dad leave lovely homogenous Ireland?
@109 Countries So he came here to take British jobs from British people? Also literally millions of Irish have emigrated to the UK over the years as well, particularly to places like Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and London. There even used to be signs in loads of shops and pubs saying we didn't want your kind over here and that you were viewed the same as the black people you don't like (and dogs.) Maybe you should go back to your own country and stop worrying about British problems for people who've lived here for generations? I'm sure your country, Ireland, has it's own problems for you to concentrate on.
Not nice when your own attitude is turned back on you is it?
Beautiful response, Sangita! Ignorance is not an excuse to be so rude. I hope the caller is ashamed of their bigotry.
Hi having read through lots of the comments I think it is fair I should point out that of 4 nations that make up Great Britain only one of them decided it was a bad thing to feed hungry children ! Only the Tories with a huge majority stopped English children being fed during School holidays ! The Scottish Tories all apart from one (Dug Ross ) who abstained voted against feeding English children ! The Tories only have power in England Scotland it’s SNP wales Labour & NI SF . Even having done a UTurn on FSM in England we now find out at least 40 areas in England have not fed their children as the vindictive Tories have released no funds to enable this ! The same Tory government gave BP far more of taxpayers money than the cost to feed English Children ! A sum of £100 million not bad for a company who made £billions in profit ?
Unfortunately, there are people in the United Kingdom with these views. They need to be acknowledged and challenged in an open debate.
These people are not really interested in an open fair debate. Are you seriously thinking they want a 'debate'?
@@MrPiccolop Whether we like it or not, 'these people' are part of our society. Enabling them to express their views, as this show has done, is an important aspect of a liberal democracy. Their refusal to engage is another matter.
@Gammons Trout I disagree, if the 50% of those who dont vote wld do so u may find a different result.

Dumb woman..
Sangita you're a saint! What patience ...
She was a coward. I bet she even turned off the radio before you spoke back.
Shut up 🤡🤡
Whenever someone gives it all that about how their own parents didn't need any help and they had it alright as kids, I want to ask them if they ever openly, honestly discussed that with their parents. Being raised as one of 10 kids doesn't qualify one to speak on what it would be to raise 10 kids. Her folks probably would've loved a bit of help.
Exactly! Anna is too hurt and too bitter and too dumb to understand that her mom did not find it easy. She would have struggled like mad to get by. Just because food was on the table doe snot mean it was easy or that sacrifices were not made. I grew up raised by my mother, she had 3 jobs and 4 of us kids to look after. Many a time she starved herself just so we did not have to.
We never knew until years later when we were adults. So perhaps Anna should shut her mouth and give her brain a chance.
How would you know what her parents would or wouldn’t have wanted did you know them? If not then why just assume. Not relying on the government to feed life that you chose to create doesn’t make you a bad person at all.
@@Adam-uu5bwDo you honestly think her parents would have martyred themselves to some ridiculous hair-shirted ideal of refusing free meals for their kids if it were offered? That notion is simply not credible. Not relying on assistance doesn't make you a bad person, but that's not what anyone said or implied anyway. But arguing that those who could really use some help shouldn't get it, because it wasn't on offer to you in the past, makes you a mean-spirited and envious person.
I bet her family got benefit though .
@@juliecobbina2024 - They would have received Children's benefit, at the very least, (it had little to no stigma attached) never mind a free education, free access to healthcare, public roads and transport, possibly council housing, policing etc etc. Basically a whole range of things that most people don't even notice. The same argument, 'that it shouldn't be the role of the state to provide such things', was used against the introduction of every single one of those things. Thats before we even get to the question of whether it's ok to allow large numbers of children to starve, in order to prop up some anachronistic right-wing ideology.
The more immigrants we get, the more social welfare we need.
Sangita is so very articulate in thought and word. It's impressive.
