I highly recommend Unshaken by Dreia Wells if you like paranormal why choose. I just put the Chaos Wielder (why choose fantasy) by AE Cosby on my tbr this morning.
I love a why choose! It's my favourite trope! I would highly recommend Castle of Nevers and Nightmares if looking for a fantasy romance with fae where the fae give the more traditional folk lore vibe. And for shifters Her Vicious Beasts by E.P Bali is so much fun! I am really in the mood for a rockstar romance so on that's high on my TBR is The Song of Fallen Angels by Ivy Brannon
Here is my two cents on the books you suggested that I have read: -Twilight of Embers: If this is your first Tessa Hale book you might enjoy it. It is very fast paced and nothing new. But if you have read any of her other RH books you will quickly note she follows a formula and they are all extremely similar. - The Blackened Blade: Was great. I really liked the first book, it reminded me of earlier RH which actually bothered to have a good story with its smut. But then the second book was a huge let down. It ended in a pretty exciting cliffhanger, but the majority of the book was nowhere near as good as the first. To the point I started doubting my own review for the first. 😂 - Bonded by thorns: I DNF, it might get better later on, but the beginning chapters are a straight retelling of the Disney Movie, even the dialogue. So it was boring since it wasn’t any new material. - Blood of Hercules: Was amazing. Actually a great story you can get invested in. More of a Poly. My all time favorite, top shelf RH, are the following: - All The Pretty Monsters series by Kristy Cunning. - The Stardust series by Autumn Reed. - The Dark Side series by Kristy Cunning. - The Veil series by B. L. B. - Curse of the Gods series by Jane Washington and Jaymin Eve.
