@@EatingForOne101 well done. It’s quite hard. It’s taken me about 4 years to really make things stick. Glad you liked the video and best of luck on your meat free journey.
@@HenniMeansLove yeah that’s a real problem for some people. I haven’t quite figured out how to do that if avoiding animal products other than really processed stuff like quorn etc.
Seeds, nuts, algae like chlorella and spirulina. Ultimately you'll need to cycle through legumes, grains, seeds, leafy greens and algae throughout the day however you can avoid carbs fairly easily. I personally only eat grains and legumes once or twice a day and I get 140-180 grams of protein a day.
@@HenniMeansLove I personally almost pushed myself to anorexia the first time I went vegan because I wasn't having enough fat. You can get very lean but, eventually your body will start eating itself if you don't get any fat and you don't want to just get a bunch of protein to offset that. Once you take animal products and processed foods out of your diet it's almost equally important to manage your fat intake as your amino acid sources. For people who have no interest in removing animal products this will not be a problem. For people that do, having fat sources is very important, especially if you're active.
@@herbbowler2461 thanks for the comment. I probably agree but there’s a lot of negative messages out there so this video at least helps people who don’t know where to look.
I am going vegan starting January. I am going to have FUN. 😊

@@kaliduncanel3356 great. Forgot about those.
Any whole plant food supplies more protein than the body needs.
And that is a well established fact!

Dream on.. 😂

If eating whole plant foods, it is impossible to become protein deficient!
Absolutely impossible!
Tempeh has approximately 19 grams of protein per 100grm. I am vegan and eat this a lot.
@@sp-bc1kk that’s great info. Thanks.
Try eating some meat, it's got loads of protein
@@jameswade4097 lol. Funny one. This video was for people that choose not to eat animals. But thanks for watching.
