    I love that Sabrina kept talking about things that can be EXCLUSIVELY done in the ocean. Despite being repeatedly told it was also on land.

    My son is a hugger. He will gladly hug any random person for no real reason at all. This is especially true for Disney Princesses. We had to peel him off a few when we visited Disney. And no, they didn't let go until he did.

    I know the lateral UA-cam channel doesn't get the kind of views that Tom's other work does, but I'm so glad that the team have figured out the best format for this platform by having single question videos!

      I'm actually curious if the podcast itself gets more views (listens?) than these outtakes. I personally prefer to have the shorter videos with the added visual from face cams.

      if they didn't post so many videos on the youtube i'd listen to the podcasts. As it is now, it seems there's only like 1 or 2 questions per episode that don't make the cut, so trying to listen and skip through is a real pain.

      I wish they continued with the full episodes. They did it at the start for the first (and maybe second) episode but stopped. It didn't get enough views and was too much effort to edit it.

      Early thumbnails were on occasion spoilery, I am glad they were able to steer away from that. But now I guess they are spoilers, in that we can rely on the fact they are the wrong answer... 🤔

      My favorite part was when Tom started mentioning cruise ships and Melissa was like “go on” and then when Sabrina jumped in with a Titanic reference Melissa just immediately dropped her head in disappointment

    The more i listen to this series, the more i find the guests are a big part of why this works. The questions are really good but the guests are better. Great concept by Tom and his crew. :D

    This is not technically a rule. It’s a guideline but not a rule. Tom’s factoid at the end is real but also that happens with character performers on their training shifts. If you ever see a character next to a random wall or gate, they are having their first outing. They are near a door so they can escape quickly if something goes wrong

      in the entire episode, really; from start to end he made the most of the show (but also he is the only one of the three who actively watches quiz shows ((he is the one who asked to be on the show)) so it would make sense)

    Definitely one of my favourite questions in the podcast.
    Really clever, everybody was really far from the answer, required a LOT of lateral thinking after the initial guesses.

    That's a great question. That's one of the best I've seen on lateral. I wasn't anywhere near the answer and the reveal was so satisfying. I'll be stealing this one for the pub.

    My guess was that it was about snake handlers and the rule where if one bites you, you have to wait for it to let go first before you do anything.

    It's Disney characters when a kid wants a hug. You have no idea how much the kid might need the hug and reassurance so letting go first could be upsetting.

    I know this one, it's Disney's cast members at Disneyland or Disney Cruises. When they hug kids, they are not allowed to let go of the hug unless the kid lets go first.

    I actually totally already knew the answer, but it wasn't until after Taha's arm wrestling bit that it actually came back to me that I already knew it. That was a good question

    Why did I instantely start thinking about the rope thing on aircraft carrier that catches the plane, and then they also started thinking the same thing. It's not in any way related to question, how did that happen. I'm weirded out.

    Initial thoughts: I went straight to nuclear weapon usage: trained occupation, specialised role, highly-limited locations, ... military commanders of ICBM sites and Air Force bases for land, and SSBN/SLBM for sea. And "letting go first" would mean "striking first with such weapons"; (well except that one time in Japan... long story...).

    Spoilers:
    I guess that this must still apply if you are just a random costumed mascot.
    But the whole 'don't let go first thing' I have come across a costumed character that didn't do that. Ok 5 year old me did kind of accidentality knock it's head off...
    I'm still terrified of mascots to this day.
