- Desert village of cholistan and village life of Rajasthan is same and considered as extreme village life of Pakistan and India, watch this video how peoples are living in mud homes .
In this video Mud hut found unbelievable cool, outside temperature was more than 45C but feeling of inside was not more than 30C, desert peoples have amazing primitive skills, they build their own house with limited resources, this grass thatch hut is locally called “Cupa or Kuppa” there was no any other house in radius of 5Km from this house, they have healthy life style and organic food lovers, Desert peoples language is Saraiki which is 90% similar to Punjabi and 80% with Urdu, theses peoples are very hospitable, reception and entertain of strangers or guests without reward, they saw us and forced us at least take a tea, if you are with fasting then we will not let you go without Iftar (Iftar: refers to the evening meal for breaking (fasting) during the Islamic month of Ramadan)
The Cholistan Desert (Urdu: صحرائے چولستان; Punjabi: چولستان روہی), also locally known as Rohi ,is a large desert in the southern part of Punjab, Pakistan that forms part of the Greater Thar Desert, which extends to Sindh province and the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is one of two large deserts in Punjab, The backbone of Cholistan economy is animal rearing. Few other livelihood opportunities aside from livestock farming are available in the region. Agricultural farming away from the irrigated regions in Lower Cholistan is unavailable due to the lack of steady water-supply. Camels in particular are prized in Cholistan for their meat and milk, use as transportation, and for entertainment such as racing and camel dancing, The word Cholistan is derived from the Turkic word chol, meaning desert. The people of Cholistan lead a semi-nomadic life, moving from one place to another in search of water and fodder for their animals. The dry bed of the Hakra River runs through the area, along which many settlements of the Indus Valley Civilization have been found. The desert also hosts an annual Jeep rally, known as Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally. It is the biggest motor sports event in Pakistan. In a harsh and barren land where rainfall is very sparse and unreliable, Cholistanis rely mainly on their livestock of sheep, goats, and camel. However, in cold nights of winter they huddle indoor and engage themselves in various arts and crafts such as textiles, weaving, leatherwork, and pottery.

قدیم زمانے میں،
بڑے بڑے گائے کے ریوڑ والے مالدار لوگوں نے،
یہ ریگستانی علائقے خود سے پسند کئے تھے، خاص طور پہ سرسوتی ندی کے زلزلے کی وجہ سے اوپر اپنے منبع سے کٹنے کے بعد، ہاکڑو اور گھگھر میں تبدیل ہونے کے بعد جو خود فقط بارش کے پانی کے جوہڑ بن گئے تھے!
اسی طرح پورے ریگستانی علائقے (تھر اور چولستان) میں بھی جہاں جہاں بارش کا پانی ٹھہرتا تھا، تالاب اور ٹوبے بن گئے تھے ان کیلئے جنت اور ان کے مال مویشی کیلئے وسیع چراگاہ بن گیا تھا۔
آج تھر کا بڑا حصہ بھارت میں ہے، جو پہلے راجپوتانہ اور اب راج آستھان کہلاتا ہے اور یہاں چولستان سے اوپر پوٹھوار تک تھر سے تھل!
جو تقریباً پانچ کروڑ ایکڑ پہ مشتمل علائقہ ہے، %70 بھارت میں ہے۔
یوں سمجھیں کہ نہری علائقے زراعت کیلئے ہیں اور ریگستانی علائقے مال مویشی کیلئے!
جس میں وہ ریوڑ لئے پھرتے رہتے ہیں، ٹھکانہ کرکے ایک جگہ نہیں بیٹھتے تھے کیونکہ چارہ ایک جگہ ختم ہوجاتا ہے تو اس کی تلاش میں دوسری جگہ منتقل ہوجاتے تھے اور گجر کہلاتے تھے!
یہ صورتحال تو فقط گذشتہ دو سؤ سال میں بگڑی ہے :
مشینی دور میں،
جب بڑی بڑی دیو ہیکل کُھدائی کی مشینوں کے بل بوتے پر ریگستانی علائقوں کو بھی نہریں کھود کر قابلِ کاشت کیا جانے لگا، تو زراعت اور گلہ بانی ایک دوسرے میں مدغم ہونے لگی، دونوں ایک دوسرے کے علائقوں میں حد دخلیاں کرنے لگے اور بنا بنائے قدرتی نظام کو تہ و بالا کرلیا!
۔ ۔ اب ہر طرف بنجر علائقوں میں بھی پانی کے مطالبے ہونے لگے ہیں!!!

Making a modular kitchen for this lady will take away the food value this way of cooking provide,moreover see will soon be seeing doctors, which I think see haven't seen in her entire life,may God see never needs a doctor
This is the problem with us, we aren't suppose to help people which destroys their culture and tradition. We had simple life in South India when we tempted to go beyond modernization, things ruined our life. Stressful life, diseases, loads of challenges.

I couldn't control my emotions when I see this footage . The people are living in the middle of the scorching desert. How their livelihood is met. Their life is just an extention of nature. Even though they may be leading a life with very less money, I see it as the happiest, without any pressure of modern world. Government /kind hearted people should help them for a better shelter. Well done for showing life of ordinary people of Pakistan. 👍❤️🇮🇳

Dear this is my idea , I just talk about language , we are living in saraiki region , I observe very minor diffrence in both language , so thanks for appreciating, we are one nation language is just a communication media ,
