My biggest issue with this series is that the author treated Tia like she was a villainess and not just misunderstood. In her first life, even before the poisoning of Ruve, he disliked her for the worst reasons (one even being because HER mom sacrificed herself to protect her daughter instead of him) and mistreated her long before the other girl showed up. Fast-forward to her second life and the only reason the prince didn't go down the exact same path is because Tia had changed, not him. To me, it felt like the author was saying Tia got punished in her first life for not expressing herself enough and not catching Ruve's attention, but now that she doesn't want anything to do with him, she's stuck with him. It's ironic that the author wanted them to be fated lovers despite the fact that they had the least compelling story of all her love interests. Her relationships with Allen and Carsein were far more enjoyable to read and felt like they were forced to end, instead of her naturally realizing that Ruve was the best option. I'm glad I watched this review, cause I was never going to go back and finish this series after dropping it, as it looks like the ending was just as disappointing as one would have expected it to be.
As someone who was traumatized by domestic abuse, the most scariest thing is how she literally doesnt have much backlog of trauma with him. In my opinion i still hate the ML, even though its the "fated lovers" a man whove treated her like shit. idk i liked it at first in s1 then i dropped it after s2 :B
I'm sorry to hear that. I have been fortunate enough to not experience domestic abuse myself but I am glad you shared this. I did think Aristia felt traumatized when looking at Ruve in the beginning but it started to feel surreal and inconsistent as the story moved forward so I didn't even try to touch that subject. I can't speak for something I'm not familiar with so it's a bit of a relief to hear that neglecting to mention her supposed trauma wasn't too much of an oversight on my part (however twisted that may sound). Thanks.
@@Weebtooner no need to say sorry abt it!! In the beginning, i liked how she wanted to do nothing with him and hurt even seeing him in the first place. Then boom s2 + s3s forest fire tornado ate the writing like it was a mcdonalds happy meal. Also dw abt not mentioning it in your rant! You did it out of respect and it was sweet of you to do so! Loved your rant ♡
God I remember reading the entire webtoon which made me go “huh that was pointless” anyways nice review can’t wait to see the other parts of the reviews, it did bother me that they didn’t fully developed Aristia’s trauma and psychology like “bruh” anyways Carsein is best boy
She worked hard to become head of her family just to throw it away, pointless waste of time. I didn't care about the romance it was her life journey that interest me.
@@tialapioneer7604 I tried to give it more chances but I read to abt chap 53 and still nothing much. I tried reading it again then stopped again. This one is not so great.
I remember starting 2nd season then learning that Aristia didn't end up with Carsei and just dropped. Blue prince (sorry I didn't bother to remember the name of any of the boys other than best boy Carsei because he is the only one that I actually cared for) wasn't a terrible character and I would have liked if he and Aristia ended up with amiable relationships but not together. It's just too much trauma to get back together man. And the green onion just came out of the list as soon as he became obsessed. So the only real option was Carsei. But the part that drives me nuts is that the premise, the reason I started reading, the "I won't love you again" is false! It made me so mad! And she ends up with her "fated lover" despite the literal god naming her the one who defies destiny... I don't maybe it just wasn't for me but man was I mad
Man, I really wanted to like this manhwa! Season one was good, season two was okay, and I kind of left after that. The characters were so good, but I just couldn't get over the prince being the only one left, it felt kind of forced, kicking the other two out of the story like that. On top of my sad ship sinking, I was thinking Tia would become an independent woman, head of her house, a knight for the kingdom, but nope, slap on that empress ending and throw away built-up expectations! I don't even want to dip a toe into the drama surrounding the trauma. All in all, I wish it went for a strong ending. Tia being selfish for once, and taking a hard path to achieve her dreams, actually staying as her family head, and becoming a knight that (is not in love with the king but) is a loyal defender of the crown. It would have been a nice ending, choosing ambition and dreams over love and what could have been.
honestly, i think i vent about this manhwa alot. i don't actually have any problem with ruve but the fact she(Astia) doesn't have trauma bother me i guees. can't wait to watch this
@@spongebobsquarepants1310 You're going to have to elaborate. I don't understand what you mean when you type in "Windy day animation ft yourself please". If you're asking for a face reveal, then I must politely refuse. If there is another meaning to it, then please let me know and I'll accommodate if possible.
I was just mad because of how they put arista's trauma aside in the name of love but wow this webtoon is waaay worst then i thought especially when you analize the political plot (just like you did).
I’ve noticed in most forums, readers/fans hate Ruve/ML more because they hold on to his first timeline self and struggle to sympathize with his second timeline self. Besides not respecting Tia’s wishes by breaking their engagement, he ultimately didn’t do anything wrong in the second timeline, and was more or less dragged along by Tia’s indecisiveness. Makes you wonder why he was even attracted to her when most of their relationship was Tia avoiding him or pulling away when they got close? (Guess he liked the chase?) But you have brought up wonderful points about Tia’s(FL) characterization. While I was reading the manhwa, it confused me how easily it came to form feelings for Ruve again after promising to herself she’ll never love again; and her wishy-washy indecisiveness about her feelings were a little realistic, but annoying in how it effected everyone else around her. Most reader’s complaint with her was her putting in so much time and effort to get out of her relationship with Ruve and not be queen/empress (again), but ultimately throws all her work/efforts away by ending up with him (again). The whole story felt like a waste of time for most readers because the story gave little to no good reason for Tia to fall in love with Ruve, making all the work and relationships with others she’s built over those years(chapters) feel like ‘filler’ when she “abandons” all of it for a ‘fated’ relationship. What killed the story was the amazingly tragic but investing beginning, the good to decent buildup, the mediocre to bad middle, and the crash and burn way of trying to justify it’s ending. It was mainly the ending that did it for me. Nothing in the story made the ending palatable in my eyes, as all reasons and justifications were weak or just sounded stupid (coughpoisoncough, coughinferioritycomplexcough, coughfatecough 😓).
Thank you for sharing this. I always love reading other people's take on a topic (it's actually the reason why this channel exists). I would agree that the journey felt somewhat pointless but I find the idea of 'futility' somewhat appealing in a twisted way. The notion that 'choices don't matter' really hits close to home as I sit down, play FE Three Houses, and realize that I don't have nearly as much choice as I would like. (How is this related? I don't know. I'm just typing the first things that come to mind).
I Would Not Love again for a while too she had a misscarriage and died he had her Blood on his Hands in the first live if i were her i Would have trust issues in someone Else aswell
Honestly, it was truly the poison that really ruined everything. They both were given the same poison, but it had drastically different effects based on the gender? What a cop out. Juen was truly a wasted character towards the end and the manwha did no justice for her. Supposedly, the novel fleshed out her reappearance better.
Funny thing is, I got to hear a spoiling about her picking the prince so I dropped it after that XD. I like the green haired kid. Wish he was used better. Also red head had potential! Idk just. Why. WHAT IS THIS STORY
Her ended up together with Ruve in the end really mess up her and Ruve's character development and wasted a whole lot of good story potential. She could have been ended up with Carsein. Carsein's talk about romantic relationship that being comfortable with each other is better than feeling passionate love was spot which made me feel that it could have been Carsein and Tia considering their chemistry in the whole series.
Ngl the ml seems like an overall jerk tbh the only reason he’s treating her well is cause he realised he loved her after observing her destroy the political status of the kingdom like how could u fall in love with someone like that along with her dead mother? Like imagine the reason for not being a douche bag like he originally was because u knew her mother 💀imagine finding out u struggled through all that abuse which didn’t reoccur because u destroyed the politics and he knew your mother? Seems kinda dumb ngl
The "for some reason" is because he didn't know it was going to hurt Aristia. More like he didn't think it would hurt her, basically the nobles wanted to get rid of house Monique to acquire power and since the head of the house was the Marquis he agreed to help them because the Marquis was keeping him from Tia. The Marquis did so to clean up the mess she left behind when the rumors about her affairs with Allen and Sein spread, he didn't take action on sein's rumor because Sein is Ruve's cousin and the rumor could be explained as them both being part of military families so they are naturally friends and are just practicing with each other while gaining knowledge on each other's personal techniques from each house, this part was both in the novel and manhwa but it was more into depth in the novel. Back to my point, Allen started to resent tbe Marquis for keeping tia away, he knew his letters weren't being delivered to Aristia and that the Marquis had kept them all, Aristia was unaware of this and that created a misunderstanding between them. Allen just wanted to get rid of the Marquis because even if house Monique fell from grace he'd still be a duke's son and could easily marry tia, Allen knew that he would eventually become the heir and duke instead of his elder brother because even if his *weak* brother managed to outlive their father he would most likely die without an heir and as such he would end up succeeding the title of duke Verita as the only blood descendant left.
Allen's plan sounds either ingenious or insane. From what I'm reading here, it seems to rely on a lot of what-ifs and a bit of naivete. But then again, I suppose it's understandable from a guy who managed to develop psychosis from this messy love web.
@@Weebtooner Allen's obsession and love wasn't supposed to or meant to develop, Allen approached her with the intention to marry her bht not for the reasons we originally thought, which was that he was fascinated by her idea, it was explained later in the manhwa that he overheard his father's plan to marry Aristia to Alexander(his older brother) apparently Duke Ruthe De Verita had been overly complimenting Aristia infront of Ruveliss, and talked about how impressive her accomplishments were for her age, this pissed off ruve because everyone already loved and adored Tia, this created jealousy that would lead to hatred and was one of the reasons ruve was cold to her despite loving her in the 1st timeline. The jealousy and hatred mainly came because his parents were cold to him yet they doted on and loved/adored tia. Later it was revealed that the empress wasn't actually Ruve's mother because he was the son of a commoner who was never introduced, this was introduced when it was revealed that Marchioness Jeremia was not only of a Ducal bloodline but that her mother had escaped the Zena household to marry a commoner, ruve knew this in the 1st timeline which just added to his hatred for tia. Back to the point(I keep going away from the main point) Allen whi knew his father's plot wanted to marry Tia to gain his parent's affection because contrary to most families when the youngest is the favorite his eldest birther was the favorite not because he was the heir but because he was born with a weak body, as such he grew up feeling both jealousy and hatred towards his brother because his parents were either cold or ignored him to focus on their weaker dumber elder son(I'm not saying he isn't smart buf Allen is smarter than him). Later his original intent to marry her grew into love and an obsession when he saw that they were actually similar, to be more specific when be saw how tia looked at the Marquis with the longing of her father's love. And eventually as he got to know her he fell for her even more. Which is whg he was completely crushed when he messed uo by not believing Tia and later adding to his desperation to heal their relationship the Marquis prevented him from contacting her as such the desperation was consuming him and he decided to join the aristocratic faction as he had nothing to lose and he could only see him gaining the only thing he wanted,Tia, if he joined, so he ended uo joining the group he originally thought was useless that had no hope thinking he would benefit from the Marquis's death.
If anyone is curious, there were some last minute changes (like actually adding a preview sequence and fixing minor errors). By the way... the only reason why this is being released so early is because I was inspired by a cover song that lit a flame in my heart and encouraged me to forgo sleep and food to create this monstrosity in record time. I see this as an absolute WIN! Anyway, please enjoy my totally un-biased view on this webtoon (note: there is sarcasm in this last line)
The discussion about the last chapters brought me here. This was the first ever manhwa i've ever read and what actually brought me into the world of Manhwa. I was very much hooked and intrigued, the storyline was nice and all, at first. It came downhill when I see how they set aside the female's trauma for more fan service. The ending was nothing but a disappointment, even if she had won the male lead's favor it doesn't change the fact about how he treated her in her previous life. I didn't expect the comments under the last chapter express the same thoughts I had.. I can't seem to find out how I managed to survive till the end, maybe it's cuz of the art style lol.
I don't know if you take sujestions, but I believe you would find "the trash of the count's family" interesting. It's an webnovel/webcomic. It is rather long but I personally find the world building really nice. I apologize for my grammar, english is not my first language.
Glad I found this video! Admittedly, I'm probably one of the few fans of The Abandoned Empress so it's nice to see some reviews don't entirely tear it apart since I am aware of the bad reputation The Abandoned Empress has. I think your remark on how fated lovers is a popular trope in Asia holds quite true. Many Asian dramas have an "in another life" theme, such as "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms" where the two lovers experience three lives and three different worlds together, in which the first two ended badly. Also, another popular theme is the "red string of fate." Which is why I found the love story between Aristia and Ruve to be quite compelling as fated lovers who were doomed in the first timeline. Unfortunately, due to all the hate, the manhwa wasn't able to portray this entirely and I had to look for the novel. The way how Aristia and Ruve both did love each other in the first timeline, but they were turned against each other by people who wanted to use them to gain control of the empire was very tragic in my opinion and a great initial setup for the story. It also ties in nicely with how the empire fell apart in the first timeline, but prospered in the second. Surprisingly, I found that many readers of the novel did genuinely love the story. I agree with your critiques on Aristia's writing, but at the same time, she's probably one of my favourite isekai FL and one of the few I enjoy. Her insecurities may be frustrating, but as one of my bigger issues with FL in isekai is how they often become all-knowing and overpowered, Aristia was in a way a breath of fresh air. I personally enjoyed reading her struggles.
In spite of how heavily flawed it is, I did quite enjoy this manhwa. Based on your comments, I might actually dip my toes into the novel as I've heard it's a lot better and may smoothen some edges that the manhwa had.
I agree with a lot of the points in this video. However I will say that I feel like the first half or so is a bit of a cold retelling of the story. Though Tia has many inconsistencies and often goes against the goals she has, those events are also tied with her trauma. She gets confused on what she should do and acts rashly without thinking of the long term consequences. This is meant to be a much more emotional story than a calm and calculated one. Though I don't think that reasoning was commicated very well to the reader in the manhwa (haven't read the novel). The story does heavily lean on her trauma to explain things, but it is very much there. Overall this was a well done video and does a good job of going over the events of the story.
I'm glad you pointed this out. I will admit that I willfully ignored Aristia's mindset and motivations during the plot summary. This is largely because I couldn't understand this character anymore. Exploring the Aristia from the first half of the story would have left me in the dirt when I had to talk about Aristia in the latter half because I would've had to just make stuff up. It's partially the reason why I took a whole month to even start the script and why the video format is different from what I've done until now. I originally wanted 3 videos (1 per season) but realized it would've made no sense. Make no mistake, I'm actually glad you called it.
I feel bad for the artist, Ina. I liked the manhwa cause of the art and I felt like her art was just a waste for this manhwa. I do hope she gets another opportunity to draw another webtoon with a good story.
Also the poison was an original part of the story in both the manhwa and novel, and they actually did rush the plot of the story so they didn't include some things that helped explain some parts of the plot.
This webtoon has talent to make my blood boil (lol) recently theres someone who wants recommendations about trash mls or huge drama, so i absolutely had to let him/her know about this LMAO (anyways, nice review.)
Wow 😲 someone linked your video to the OI sub and I was really impressed with your analysis! I remember reading this series, but dropping it due to my fear that Ruve would fall for Tia, as I thought it would be inevitable, and his hatred being shifted to Jieun resulting in torturing a character for no reason. I was absolutely surprised by what actually happened because my GOSH the illogical nonsense you explained is....wow 😅 the things that you explained were really concise and I definitely want to hear more 👍
I didn’t want to see anything related to this story again but I’m glad I watched this video. It was fun watching you get as angry as I was at this story. Great video.
After watching this video, I feel like this story is just a simple mary-sue story with a bunch of plot holes… cuz if arista been doing political as a “queen” in her previous life and had been train to be an empress as well, she should know that she is just increasing the influence of non-imperial faction. This Manhwa is like a chess game where the second and third male lead is being treated as a chess piece.. so sad 😭
I said this before but I will said it again, as shoujo manhwa addict I really trust your opinion about manhwa of other genres so please be free to go beyond the expected. PS: And again as shoujo manhwa addict, JESUS F****ING CHRIST I HATE THIS MANHWA. So much potential gone down hill and don't make me start with the romance please.
I read through all 4 seasons of the manhwa and I have to say, I was disappointed. I had such great expectations of the ending but it felt like a very dull ending. I really wanted Arista to end up with Carsien but now that I've watched your review, but I've realized that if Aristia didn't marry the Crown Prince the empire probably would have gone to ruin because there would have been no woman who could match Aristia's political knowledge (but was never shown in the manhwa because she seemed like a naive girl who didn't know anything about the political problems that were currently ongoing). I lost my marbles and my sanity so many times because of this stupid manhwa. I thought the storyline was well written but I regretted jumping down this rabbit hole which was a total waste of time when I could have read better manhwas or do school work. All in all this was a great review and thank you for your opinions. Also, could you review Inso's Law? It's about a girl who somehow is put into a different world that includes manhwa details which Ham Dan-i (the main character) calls "laws". It shows the difficulties of being from a different world and the problems of fitting in to her new world. Surprisingly she is able to go back to her old world on March 2nd which is the day she first came into the world. It is a great manhwa in my opinion but it has some problems. Anyway, can't wait for the next video!
Considering I steadily lost my own sanity during my own video review, I'd say your descent into madness was understandable. I've read a good portion of Inso's Law a while back and I found it struck a chord that hit me somewhere deep (for strange reasons, of course). The level of surreal dissonance I felt was almost on par with reading through Lookism. It ain't a rabbit hole I want to visit anytime soon but who knows? Perhaps it'll make for a funny video.
@@Weebtooner Oh! So you’ve read the Webtoon Lookism too? I have to say I really enjoy it. I respect your decision but who knows maybe you’ll do a review on it in the future.

Thank you for making this video! I've been debating on whether to read this for a couple of months since the premise of her going back to the guy who in a way abused her was unappealing to me. But knowing that he is another person in this other timeline did change things. I can't wait to see the next videos you make on her relationship with each of the love interests as I do wonder how the prince went from hating her to loving her just because she ignored him and didn't want to be with him anymore. I swear I see that trope all the time in shoujos, as soon as the girl stops being interested in the guy, he falls for her. Sometimes it makes sense since the girl actually becomes intelligent and does things that impress the male lead (for example The Villainess is a Marionette and Queen with a scalpel.) But from what you say Aristia doesn't do anything impressive or smart. Just avoiding the male lead and spending time with the other love interests.
@@Weebtooner Lol sorry, that's just the vibe I got from her from your video. I haven't read the webtoon. Maybe her taking knight training classes impressed him? Lol, I dunno.
@@auroralilac7537 No, you're absolutely correct. The only reason I can think of why Ruveliss started noticing her so fervently is because she was playing 'hard to get'. Other plot devices (her mother, plot tree, etc.) were created to ease the blow. It didn't quite hit me until you pointed that out. This has given me much to think about for when I start the script for the Ruve X Tia pairing and I thank you for the insight.
4:31 I agree. She loved her people and got upset when Jieune(?) took the Empress Title so lightly because of it. (This sentence I hate because I accidently deleted it and I can't remember the exact words) 10:17 Same. It does not look good at all. My sanity level is following yours. How can anyone like those two and that girl is an idiot. How can she forget the love she had for her people just because of the Church's and Ruve's mistake. 17:48 I would drop this just because I am annoyed with the story. How could anyone drop it just because she didn't pick one of two people before the horrible storyline? 21:35 Same! Why? She's horrible in this timeline. She at least cared for her people and stayed with the man she loved despite the abuse in the previous one. Plus all the things that were mentioned before. 22:40 I am too. Was gonna read for both Aristia and Ruve, now it's just Ruve. 31:12 When I read this story, I am going to imagine Past Life Aristia because she is the reason I wanted to read this while just listening the Current Life Aristia makes me want to chuck my phone out my window (I'm on the second floor). I'll watch Ruve's, I will not watch the others.
Not sure how to feel about that one. On one hand, I'm a bit sad that you don't plan to read it (or so I assume). On the other hand... I'm rather impressed at your dedication confirming the origins of memes on this subject.
@@Weebtooner ah, I wrote this comment before I was even halfway through the video and by the end of it you made me feel like I was missing out. I ended up subscribing and I'm looking forwards to your next 3 videos because I really enjoyed this one!!
Yes, it's true. None of the people I was interested from the west were interested in soulmates. Yet, when I had an eastern partner or people wanting to date me, soulmates would come up before 2 weeks of knowing them.
And here in lies, the sanity I would have lost if I didn't drop the manwha right as the poison plot devices rears its ugly head. If I can get a dollar for every stupid decision Aristia makes, I'd be rich. This also comes to head in my mumbling while watching this one being "Arista makes one smart move then a hundred dumb ones to flavlur it." How Ruve can even keep a level-head with how much she fumbles the tower of cards, that is the empire's stability, boogles me. I wouldn't have mind the Ruve x Aristia endgame if I felt like their connect was delivered right, but I guess let's excuse that and all intrigue about the past with plot device poison. It's sad to see a somewhat good premise go to the wayside through bad delivery, and poorly managed characters. Maybe its a case of author putting too much into the wall and see what sticks sometimes.
Just finished the comic today and I agree why people were saying why the ending sucked. Aristia's decision to avoid Ruve was really frustrating. Still, it did have some likeable characters (mostly Carsein who deserved better😭)
I still can’t believe I spent money on this comic… I’ve thought of going back to re-read what I’ve purchased just because the art is honestly gorgeous and the story (at least until the other girl gets summoned again) is pretty dang good. But I dropped it the second Tia basically dumped Allen and stopped hanging with Carsion because I knew exactly what was going to be happening from that point on.
I remember when I first discovered it was already finished. I really liked the story's start and after she went back in time I hoped she would find love. But then, the more I read it, the more I got the feeling that the ending would be disappointing. So for the first time, I did something I never did before... I read the lat chapter and I was right ! It really pissed me off ! Like, girl... for half the things the ML has done I would hate him for all my second life and you're telling me... she still went for him?! I was happy I didn't waste anymore time on the story.
I hate *HATE* moldy blueberry he may look like a blueberry but is very mold. Also why is vita so drama needed she is being a lil “i’m not the third wheel but the unseen op villainess that no one knows is the unseen villainess”. Then after getting killed once and forced to be the wife of moldy blueberry (why author why) she also needs to have these amazing three love choices ONLY THESE THREE *ONLY* Choice 1) a childhood friend who turns into a insane yandre Choice 2) a jock, yey? He is your best offer, k? Choice 3) a mathafawking stupid moldy blueberry who is crazy and is hated by the whole fandom who literally *KILLED* her in her old life. Oh and remember jiunne? The one that you felt uncomfortable with in the start? Yeah she’s evil. OH YESS ANDDDDDDDD moldy blueberry turned into blueberry and you feel bad 4 him and your like HUH WHAT *WHAAAAAAAAAAT* dear lord why is this so confusing. She was better with somewhat spicy red pepper.
My honest opinion abut this: Even tho I was pissed of at the ML' s (except Carsein) I was also pissed of at Tia. In the end I can understand why the Author did that well, I maybe not correct but....Even tho she did change her faith she also kinda didn't it was she destiny to fall in love with the prince but she also managed to achieve many thing like not getting killed and stuff. BTW My second Main Lead syndrome is screaming right now. And I also feel bad for the Prince like I undeerstand why people hate him but the current prince did nothing wrong so ig in the end I still want the prince to be happy? I'm not sure GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Ye that's it I'm gonna go read "I’ll Be The Matriarch In This Life" cuz they released new chapter..

Not going to lie WHAT WAS THE POINT TO MAKE HER INFERTAL LIKE HALL. WHY ADD OTHER ML IF YOUR JUST GOING TO TAKE THEM OUT. LIKE I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO GO WITH ONE OF THEM, BUT NOOOOOO SHE GOES BACK TO THE SAME DUDE THAT KILLED HER 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
I just read the 1st manga, and I absolutely DESPISED Ruvless. And ever since began reading I believed him and Aristia wounldn’t be healthy. And knowing they fell in love In the finale SICKENS ME. He gave her false hope, humiliated her, and ever IMPREGNATED HER AT 17….Yeah, I really wish they never went there, I regret reading this, I couldn’t even finish the book because of how creepy and sad this is, and I feel so bad for Aristia, she deserves better…It’s really sad becuase I really wanted to LIKE this book, the art is BEUTIFUL, The story and first couple of chapters were good too, and I like the 19th century inspired Aristocratic Lolita-esque outfits, heck- the artist clearly has gone ALL OUT with this.
I remember reading this manhwa to the ending and it was a waste of time I rather she have ended up with Allen or Carsein instead of with Ruve because in her past life she loved Ruve and she did everything so she can be with Ruve and he never loved her that way he was with that other girl and Ruve was mean to Aristia and he was the reason her father died in the past life and he abused her and he killed her the main reason I don't like him is because he was the reason her father was killed and he killed her also abused her and was mean to her like he shouldn't have done all that and been nice to her and she chose to be with him in her next life because he ended up loving her but why love someone that killed you in your previous life and did a lot of terrible things to you and another reason being that he did not love her in her past life she loved him and honesty Carsein or Allen would have been better for her like if I was her I wouldn't even give Ruve a chance if anything I would hate him for everything he did in the past life I don't care if he changed in her 2nd life he still should not have been with her in her 2nd life and there was a Manhwa story called Aidin that I was gonna read I thought it was gonna be good but I ended up dropping it after finding out that she is gonna end up with that ML who had her killed in her past life for a crime she did not commit that reminded me of the Abandoned Empress because he had her killed like Ruve killed Aristia so I gave up reading that Aidin Manhwa and dropped the story like why would the FL be with the ML who killed her in her previous life but she ended up with him if I was her I would hate him and never give him a chance.
My high blood rises again! I just speed up reading this just to finish this story because my younger sister first ever recommended this and I (ugh!)regretted reading this! Yeah! My first ever not so good to read manhwa!
The way Vita was acting like Aristia in timeline 1 was just meant to be a placeholder for Jieun and that’s why she wasn’t loved by Ruve and also why she got abused by him DESPITE the fact that Ruve also abused Jieun after Aristia died and everything went to shit after Aristia died. Doesn’t seem like Jieun is much of a blessed child in that aspect then is she. I lowkey feel like Vita was just bored fr because huh? He PURPOSEFULLY instigated shit and when everyone ended up dying he decided “oh damn, no more humans to play with, lemme restart time”. I feel like Aristia should’ve clocked that it was all a game and instead play by her own rules, I mean she did in the beginning but ended up succumbing to the same fate that was laid out for her, only this time she’s more expressive or smth and a bit more naive like Jieun which is probably what attracted Ruve to her in this timeline smh.
i was reading this manhwa like months ago then i saw a spoiler that she ends up with ruve😟 RUVE. yup still haven't finished it and i dont think i wanna see the ending for myself even though i already know what's gonna happen lmao😭
In my honest opinion I think ML should have ended up with Jieun the girl he marries In the past life or some other girl that is not Aristia or maybe he should just end up alone with no one like yes I get that the current Ruve is different from past Ruve but I still don't want him with Aristia because of what happened in the past life and because Aristia deserves someone better like Allendis or Carsein ML does not deserve to be with Aristia after what he did to her in her past life he didn't even love her in the past life was abusing her and killed her father and killed her so to me he is a big red flag to Aristia maybe not so much of a red flag to other girls because he hasn't done that to other girls aside from what he did to Aristia in past life.
Omg, ikr, I was getting so annoyed at Aristia constantly rejecting the prince dude (lol, I forgot his name) despite knowing fully well that he had a total different personality and actually cared for her. In addition to this, after that stupid black haired girl came back, it was blindingly obvious, if the empress seat went to her, the empire would die What I hated more were the comments saying, "Hell yeah, reject that blue haired b*tch" and etc Ok, I understand that the blue haired prince dude was like awful in her past life but this dude is literally a different person who wants Aristia to be happy.
Thank you bro I thought it was the worst ending at first when I saw this but thanks to you I should not go through all of the nonsense stuff by reading it thank you😊😮😅😂
ALLENDIS AND CARSEIN AS BULBASAUR AND CHARMANDER RVRO BROI CANT 😂 ( ok idk about y’all but the ending of this whole story got me upset like she completely ignored the other two 😭✋🏼 season 4 sucks tho like YOU DIDNT HAVE TO END THE FRIENDSHIP THOUGH 😭 but like I was so disappointed with the ending
Please don't read this story. It's slap on how to handle ptsd. I hate it so much.this Is mentally disturbing story. If you still want to watch something similar and and way much better than this read "remarried empress ". Again stories staring and ending doesn't justify the truma that showed.
People underestimate the poison's power, but it seems it was likely some sort of psychiatric medicine intentionally misused.. Still, I didn't hate ruve *much* because the 2nd timeline it was mostly a mix of miscommunications, but man I truly hate the 1st one.... Aristia should have ended with Carsein, all her hard work just went down the drain the moment she married ruve. The art style is cool and I kinda stuck around for it. I only re-read it because I liked the art and the side characters more than the protagonists lol
I liked the first two chapters, but ended up disliking all the characters that were presented after, except the father. The father is the only thing well done, at the begining at least. I read it until ch 40 if I remember correctlyxd It was getting so boring and the fact that she was kind of accepting what that shitty "god" said and finding out that she will end with that trash bastard...I hated it. Now I just dislike it and I don't think it deserves a second thought. P.D.: Death is the only ending for the villainess, Beware the villainess and Angelic Lady work better.
I have a request for what you could review haha what about under the oak tree it a very interesting manga and as Childhood drama written all over it it has very very good characters especially one that I especially like you would know if you read it 😉 season two is already coming out I was wondering if we could have a review of what happen in season one I hope you take my request and have fun with it🤣🤣🤣🤣 .
Do you know any good webtoon in the fated lovers genre? Or any like the beginning after the end? The webtoons you review always are ones I like to read.
Interestingly enough, I haven't seen a single title do the fated lovers thing well. Most popular manhwa titles are all about showing you how love blossoms AND/OR about making a pivotal choice. There are plenty of titles where our heroine has NO choice and I started this channel with my very first review on Empress of Another World. NO choice removes a lot of problems in storytelling. The Abandoned Empress is very memorable to me because it provided choice but still had a clear winner in mind.
If you like getting gaslighted, I would ask you to consider: Immortal Regis and its sequel, Cavalier of the Abyss. My manhwa days started with those two titles and it's a good mix of TBATE and scripted lovers (gone wrong). Be warned. You will get rekt.
You got a good narration and review,, I can't stop laughing and enjoying this video though I'm only curious on what really happened on this manhwa since there's this and that...that I don't know if it is good to read or not but after that curve like boomerang or domino or whatsoever plot it has it's 😒😒,, in the end it's big NO!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Got the book today it is very sad how he choose this girl from another dimension that Julien and Tia who was suppose to be a empress push aside like she nothing it good book but I don't find anything pretty about Julien she like a girl that is all and I think she the villaness
Thanks.

She worked hard to become head of her family just to throw it away, pointless waste of time. I didn't care about the romance it was her life journey that interest me.
I really drop this manhwa 3 times. I was quite curious if it could get better but in the end, I still dropped it.

I couldn't drop it. I'm a masochist like that.
@@tialapioneer7604 I tried to give it more chances but I read to abt chap 53 and still nothing much. I tried reading it again then stopped again. This one is not so great.
Same i haven't finish read the manhwa even though it already completed
Yeah it was kinda disappointing tho
honestly, i think i vent about this manhwa alot. i don't actually have any problem with ruve but the fact she(Astia) doesn't have trauma bother me i guees. can't wait to watch this
I AGREE. THIS RUVE IS FROM ANOTHER TIMELINE SO HE DONT DESERVE ANY HATE BUT ARISTIA NKT HAVING TRAUMA FOESNT MAME SENSE

(Guess he liked the chase?)
But you have brought up wonderful points about Tia’s(FL) characterization.
💯👍🏿
I Would Not Love again for a while too she had a misscarriage and died he had her Blood on his Hands in the first live if i were her i Would have trust issues in someone Else aswell
Honestly, it was truly the poison that really ruined everything. They both were given the same poison, but it had drastically different effects based on the gender? What a cop out.
Juen was truly a wasted character towards the end and the manwha did no justice for her. Supposedly, the novel fleshed out her reappearance better.
The audacity the fact that Jieun has better development than Aristia but i am thankful for the author creating Jieun 😊
@Arii Right? Their character development just went down the drain after that
Arista: I won’t love him again.
Also Arista: *marry’s him*
I really feel bad for Carsein I wish he was the male lead why god why
Any guy is a better Option than the ml
I had to stop reading once the ending was smacking me in the face because I just. Could not. Could not fucking deal with bloody Ruveliss
Also, another popular theme is the "red string of fate."
Which is why I found the love story between Aristia and Ruve to be quite compelling as fated lovers who were doomed in the first timeline.
I do hope she gets another opportunity to draw another webtoon with a good story.
you know what hate the ending .... red hair guy should've been the ML

Wow 😲 someone linked your video to the OI sub and I was really impressed with your analysis!
I look forward to seeing you again when I talk about the romance options~
"I....won't....love again..."
Lol, yeah like were gonna believe that.
I read through all 4 seasons of the manhwa and I have to say, I was disappointed.
I had such great expectations of the ending but it felt like a very dull ending.
I really wanted Arista to end up with Carsien but now that I've watched your review,
but I've realized that if Aristia didn't marry the Crown Prince the empire probably would
have gone to ruin because there would have been no woman who could match Aristia's
political knowledge (but was never shown in the manhwa because she seemed like a naive
girl who didn't know anything about the political problems that were currently ongoing).
I lost my marbles and my sanity so many times because of this stupid manhwa.
I thought the storyline was well written but I regretted jumping down this rabbit hole which
was a total waste of time when I could have read better manhwas or do school work.
All in all this was a great review and thank you for your opinions.
Also, could you review Inso's Law? It's about a girl who somehow is put into a different world
that includes manhwa details which Ham Dan-i (the main character) calls "laws". It shows the difficulties
of being from a different world and the problems of fitting in to her new world. Surprisingly she is able to
go back to her old world on March 2nd which is the day she first came into the world.

Oh man... the moment I read that last line I came to realize just how much worse Aristia actually is...

31:12 When I read this story, I am going to imagine Past Life Aristia because she is the reason I wanted to read this while just listening the Current Life Aristia makes me want to chuck my phone out my window (I'm on the second floor).
I'll watch Ruve's, I will not watch the others.
thank you so much for this video, now i can finally understand the memes without having to read the manhwa
Oh boy that was a doozy. Yeah glad I didn't read this. I would have been pissed. Thanks for the video.
I dropped it soon as the other love interests left T-T
Yeah the victim ends up with the abuser 😟 idc if it's another timeline or not the trauma is still there
This manhwa is more like a healing process which means forgiveness and loving herself ❤
Just finished the comic today and I agree why people were saying why the ending sucked. Aristia's decision to avoid Ruve was really frustrating. Still, it did have some likeable characters (mostly Carsein who deserved better😭)
Tbh I wish she ended up with Carsein because he’s too good for her
I still can’t believe I spent money on this comic… I’ve thought of going back to re-read what I’ve purchased just because the art is honestly gorgeous and the story (at least until the other girl gets summoned again) is pretty dang good.
Then after getting killed once and forced to be the wife of moldy blueberry (why author why) she also needs to have these amazing three love choices ONLY THESE THREE *ONLY*
Choice 1) a childhood friend who turns into a insane yandre
Choice 2) a jock, yey? He is your best offer, k?
Choice 3) a mathafawking stupid moldy blueberry who is crazy and is hated by the whole fandom who literally *KILLED* her in her old life.
Oh and remember jiunne? The one that you felt uncomfortable with in the start? Yeah she’s evil. OH YESS ANDDDDDDDD moldy blueberry turned into blueberry and you feel bad 4 him and your like HUH WHAT *WHAAAAAAAAAAT* dear lord why is this so confusing. She was better with somewhat spicy red pepper.
I love your commentary for this review. I laughed so much. 😂
My expectation was meet as usual this is amazing you did a really good
My honest opinion abut this: Even tho I was pissed of at the ML' s (except Carsein) I was also pissed of at Tia.
Sorry for my bad English!
I think fate and luck depends on choice. If you don’t use your luck well, it can become misfortune.
Fate being static is too generic to me.
I still can’t believe I spent money on this comic… I’ve thought of going back to re-read what I’ve purchased just because the art is honestly gorgeous and the story (at least until the other girl gets summoned again) is pretty dang good. I love how you just being real.
Not going to lie WHAT WAS THE POINT TO MAKE HER INFERTAL
LIKE HALL.
WHY ADD OTHER ML IF YOUR JUST GOING TO TAKE THEM OUT.
LIKE I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO GO WITH ONE OF THEM, BUT NOOOOOO SHE GOES BACK TO THE SAME DUDE THAT KILLED HER 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Is it bad that I actually liked this manhwa? I did ship her with Carsein but I loved the ending. It was reaaaalllly dragged out at times though
21:44 amazing
I SWEAR 'EL HEROINE HATES THE MALE LEAD' IS BETTER
I swear that the priest is vita in disguise because they are only there to make us suffer watching the trainwreck
I HATE HATE HATE ARISTIA, I LOVE JIEUN JIEUN
read the whole thing and liked it :3
The Music hahaha like than lucifer was kicked out by archangel micheal
30:59 9:31 11:18 4:00
My high blood rises again! I just speed up reading this just to finish this story because my younger sister first ever recommended this and I (ugh!)regretted reading this! Yeah! My first ever not so good to read manhwa!
The title for this video describes this webtoon perfectly
Such a good singer 👏😆😆
Thanks for the update.
i was reading this manhwa like months ago then i saw a spoiler that she ends up with ruve😟 RUVE. yup still haven't finished it and i dont think i wanna see the ending for myself even though i already know what's gonna happen lmao😭
Just discovered your channel!
It started so good and ended so bad :/
Carsein is still best boi tho
Hes Not i saw better
In addition to this, after that stupid black haired girl came back, it was blindingly obvious, if the empress seat went to her, the empire would die
What I hated more were the comments saying, "Hell yeah, reject that blue haired b*tch" and etc
Ok, I understand that the blue haired prince dude was like awful in her past life but this dude is literally a different person who wants Aristia to be happy.
YEY I'm not the only one bashing on the high priest and being confused at the ending :D
Thank you bro I thought it was the worst ending at first when I saw this but thanks to you I should not go through all of the nonsense stuff by reading it thank you😊😮😅😂
Ever since the emperor died, everything went to hell. He was my favorite character- 😭
The sanity level 😂
Do you know any good manwhas then?
People underestimate the poison's power, but it seems it was likely some sort of psychiatric medicine intentionally misused..
Still, I didn't hate ruve *much* because the 2nd timeline it was mostly a mix of miscommunications, but man I truly hate the 1st one....
Aristia should have ended with Carsein, all her hard work just went down the drain the moment she married ruve. The art style is cool and I kinda stuck around for it. I only re-read it because I liked the art and the side characters more than the protagonists lol
I mean.. atleast the art is good?
It upsets me that she ended up with the prince in the end
Oh gilgamesh laugh
I liked the first two chapters, but ended up disliking all the characters that were presented after, except the father. The father is the only thing well done, at the begining at least. I read it until ch 40 if I remember correctlyxd It was getting so boring and the fact that she was kind of accepting what that shitty "god" said and finding out that she will end with that trash bastard...I hated it. Now I just dislike it and I don't think it deserves a second thought.
P.D.: Death is the only ending for the villainess, Beware the villainess and Angelic Lady work better.
God you are so funny 😂 Bro I just drop my baby sister 🤣
@@Weebtooner Thank you I will be prepared, before heading out into battle.
Can you react to inso's law
At the beginning I like it😌 But! At the chapter 3,4 and the goddess and the girl who summon😑 I hate it👺
This was the worst story I have ever had the misfortune to lay my eyes on.
I love the lady throwing something at a man do you know where I can watch this?
Bro there is a new novel which I want you to recap its name is "I am living with my mother-in-law" please make sure to recap it❤❤❤❤🤩🙏🙏😭
Nice ❤️❤️
You hated the priest this in reminds Me of the annoying Monk in monkey king Chinese Odyssee
I hate Gossip ans Royal court live now you know oh the backstabbing ans slender is like a war field
