Mid terms he lost much more than expected. 2020 he was soundly beaten by a relatively unpopular old man. He lost the congress and governorships. In the Biden midterms he lost many seats in the house of representatives and the democrats kept the majority in the senate. Very big losses for Trump and the incumbent part in the white house always gets trounced in the midterms. Trump sponsored candidates lost and the democrats gained seats and kept the senate. Given that Very weak track record of losing, why is it logical to view the upcoming elections as suddenly different?

GOP had a border-deal in Senate, but when you maximize your demands in The House, you don't get anything. The border argument is overused and not relevant for Ukraine. It's obvious to anyone that a border deal is only possible thorugh an agrement with the democrats. They have majority in Senate. Russian influences fuels the border argument because it benefits Russia imperial war.

Also the money sent as aid to Ukraine is being spend on old stockpile of the US you know that a lot of small armed vehicle from the Vietnam war are now used by the Ukrainians? and ammo that is send. Can be restocked by American weapon manufacturers. Direct money is given as a forgivable loan. And a lot is humanitarian aid. You know that Putin is on the brink of crossing the line of NATO territory. When that happens the US army is going. That means troops.
