We have a big stocking with calendar dates running down and a candycane on a string attached that you move each day. you fill the stocking with your favorite candy (and you help yourself each day so the opportunity is there to stuff your face if you so choose!)

Elf was in the kitchen riding a pumpkin and in the living room flat out on the cushion. I have in previous years bought the Thorntons advent calendar when they were just the continental chocolates I gave it a miss this year not a fan of caramel

And i am offended you don't think Jesus would make a good ballerina. Maybe he was a carpenter but he very well could of been a ballerina too. Just sayin.
