Could be, but it's more likely it's coded to the thumb button colors on the PS controller.

It lejit shows symbols that r on the playstation controllers for decades now in the colors they used to have prior to the ps5 controller which kinda doesn't have any coloring to distinguish between em

I have to imagine it's either Astro at a console controlling the waldos, or it's your controller hooked into said waldos by wires or something.
