this feels very unreliable to predictable without some statistics math, as it's so possible for the number of flips to vary that you can actually control it to a degree, to the extent that with practice people can sometimes get it to not flip at all

Ohh yeah it depends on the exact force and the angle at which the force is applied will change the number of flips everytime!!We need a machine for that so the parameters don't change and then we can predict precisely!!

You determine what side of coin lands on it it stops rotating. Therefore, the flips after the ground should also count.
