Dick Clark’s a real Classic! Grew up with my Dad listening to his Rock, Roll and Remember. I love and adore Sandy Duncan she always gets me in a good mood!
2:03 The $20,000 Pyramid 15:13 The category for that Mystery 7 was not mentioned even after… 16:2327:5337:07 The extra rule if all seven is required in the final round/tiebreaker. 18:42 She had to win the $10,000 to tie. 19:53
2:14:04 That poor clue-giver's chair has caught more hell than any other game show set prop!! It's had its straps ripped out, it's been *thrown violently* out of the "Circle," it's been *knocked over* by an *overly-excited* contestant's winning romp... Just can't catch a break!! Lolol... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now that I think about it yrs later, the show where the retired Dick Clark was on... of course he won, then he set the record for fastest ever going thru the pyramid. Was that set up that way? He knew the answers, right? 😼😻
It didn't at that point. It was extremely rare that one tiebreaker didn't settle it, and had never gone past 2. It was that set of four tiebreakers thar made Bob Stewart realize he needed some way to limit the tiebreakers to 1, so each show could be self-contained with 2 rounds and two bonus rounds. Starting the following season, tiebreakers were settled by best time if they got the same number of correct responses
He could be capable of having some real "off" weeks - but then he had other weeks where he did fine or even great. (Two different weeks from 100K come to mind: First week of December 1985, where he hit for 10K three times, and the last week before the September 1987 tournament, where he qualified someone at 29 seconds - among the fastest times that decade.)
Way too many Sandy Duncan and Nipsey Russell episodes. Nipsey was one of the crabbier celebrities on the show with the intense Henry Polic. Should have shown more with Patty Duke and David Graf as there were on a lot as celebrities together. Also, should have shown some of the episodes when Vicki Lawrence went off on Dick and some $25,000 Pyramid episodes with Michael J. Fox. Sorry, but this compilation was a let down,.

Pyramids are a classic,it never goes away.
THAT PART.
Nice to see Dick Clark on The Object Is.
"I did it, Edie!" is such a moment of true joy. I hope she got her mom a nice car. :)
She and Sandy were both in tears! It was *SO* heartwarming! 🥹🥲
I love this show! I can play with the stars, as long as I don’t cheat AND take a sneak peek at the word!!!
@2:41:42, the same bell Dick would hear on the 1980s Pyramid
I remember the pyramid game show I like it when Vicki Lawrence came on there she was so funny I missed that game show
A great way to start 2023 is to watch a Pyramid marathon with the great Nipsey.
Patty Duke was a great player both here and on Password, we miss you, RIP❤❤

31:55: Uh oh. Perfect clue alert...in front of Prima Donna.
Dick Clark was a real gentleman
10:15 oops…wrong cut of the theme for the win!
not the first time either lol
Still works, though.
I loved Dick Clark, but Bill Cullen was just as good as a Pyramid emcee.
False. No one comes even close to Dick Clark.
Weird to see people as contestants, before they got famous
43:01: For right now, it's Ralph Clark, see you later! (MIC DROP moment. LOL!)
An Indian marriage.
Fresh cut flowers.
Things that are arranged.
Music...musical things...matched marriages.

After watching these makes you realize how stupid today's celebrities are.
42:53: Uh oh, INCOMING!!!! LOL
He was thinking Carol Burnett but she never appeared on Pyramid. She did Password and Password Plus.
@@michaelewing4515
He did that also on The New $25,000 Pyramid.
Carol actually did appear on *"Pyramid"* in 1976. The week had Vicki Lawrence and Rick Hurst, but Rick sat out the Friday episode.
Why so many ties between Nipsey and sandy Duncan ?
Doesn't it go by time?

31:17 Eep! That could have been a buzz-worthy illegal clue. BASIC is a computer language, not something that is basic.
1:48:30 should have been buzzed for band in a parade. Parade band is what she should have said.
Exactly! I don't know why, but the judge was asleep on that.
@@1TexasTV They did not buzz this in NYC
If you have an episode of The Object is from March 6, 1964 with Barry Sullivan & Arlene Dahl, can you please post them

I watch all the match games and miss Gene Rayburn…
Nipsey lost 10 games in a row to sandy Duncan.
He's not as great a player as you all think
