You have quickly jumped to the list of one of my favorite Soulsborne lore hunters with offering rather unique perspectives or offering other meanings that others have never mentioned and I love with the presentation you provide on some your videos. Keep up the good work!
I didn't know the existence of this type of jellyfish, very interesting, good video and i really appreciated (i love bloodborne) the connection with the celestial emissary.
prove of the pisacas being a recent Experiment is the state they are in. They still need to be controlled with early conditioning methods like imprisonment for many in a single cell, the alarm that goes on to force them to move or to do a certain job and the 2 pisacas that ar non-hostile and stil in fear, not understanding what is going on. This conditioning always reminded me of the jews being imprisoned by the nazis(for experiments, not the holocaust).seath could be also trying to make humans into dragons(the 2 serpent-people are helping him). maybe later seath would spark a trent of creating crossbreads of animals and humans(the lion/elephant/spider-humans in ds2). nice video:)
I don't even know French, but damn it is it a pleasant language to listen to I didn't notice the connection between the Bloodborne enemy and Pisacas before, but now that you mention it, its pretty much the exact same thing =D
Dat French! Je voudrais ecouter...to ummm more! (My french is awful). This was a great video both from a lore perspective and just on an entertainment level. Oh Sinclair, you simply continue to impress! I only have one thing to say...Je suis une pomplemous!
Good investigation work as usual 👌 I never put much thought into the Pisacas, never even knew their proper name 🙈 Looking forward to the Bloodborne video :)
Do you think that Seath was partially a imperfect dragon, like the primordial serpents. I've heard that some believe that the first flame corrupted the dragons in a way, because it seemed like in the age of ancients things were static, one example is The Gaping dragon is full of gluttony and sinh with slumber or sloth. just asking :) i really enjoy your videos
Think the gaping dragon is the product of its environment. Gaping dragon is living in a place thats filthy and probably crawling with disease. Is possible that maybe it got mutated because of it.
that does make sense and there is evidence for it, i just thought that the life giving effects of the First Flame had an effect on the everlasting dragons
Exactly! The Age of Ancients was a time of stasis, which kinda makes me think that maybe the dragons reached this sort of removal of the self, given the path of the dragon gesture is meditating posture, which kinda fits buddhist philosophy, like the removal of suffering and reaching Nirvana.
Hmm, maybe Seath is a perfect dragon, simply born with a genetic anomaly. Perhaps other dragons like him were born in the past, but they died out, because they didn't have the power of Lords behind them to challenge the dragons.

Love the video! You definitely put more effort into your videos than most. Also too I like that you are able to find more obscure cultural references.
Thanks!!

Your voice is so lovely! can't wait for next video.

Very possible!
To this day, those spider humans give me the creeps.

:D
Now that you mention it, doesn't Kos (the corpse on the beach where you fight Orphan,) kind of look like a deflated Seath?

soulandkro Yeah I would think that was possible too! With fire, came disparity...perhaps even amidst dragon kind!
