Sadly I was at the mercy of all things that fly in the sky today! But I still had fun :D
The buff to the Khalid, is great, and much needed, but I DO NOT recommend this tank for new or inexperienced players, as this tank will be fighting as the underdog 90% of the time, in a sea of 9.7 premiums, where you are totally outclassed (it's also rather expensive...)
Sadly I don't think the challenger MK3 ds is gonna get it's L26 rounds

L23 is a longrod. You can mouse over the animation to see the difference with a longrod being uniformed in diameter throughout the dart whereas shortrods are thinner at the rear and thicker near the pointy end.

That kill while sliding down in the intro was nice, also could you make a video on the Strv m/42 EH, it’s APHE overpressures and has enough pen for most targets with some careful sim.

Actually not true the darts that are thinner at the rear are much earlier darts. They are shorter but they aren't short rods, an example of a short rod is DM13 for the 120, its a short rod that does mediocre damage buuuuuuut in the animation it looks like a late dart and that's because it is. Early darts are worse than late but that's in angle pen and pen drop-off
And yes L 23 is a short rod that's why it's damage is so inconsistent. Compared to like Type 93 for Japan or Mango for Russia. Both are long rods compared to The m735 which is Japan's short rod for pretty much anything with a 105
It also got a 5x increase in its gun elevation speed which is amazing for its reaction times, it really makes the difference
Another thing they changed that they massively buffed the elevation rate from around 3ish degrees a second to over 15 degrees a second!

Hey Turny, you should give the 9.7 Challys a shot! Since the decompression to 11.3, 9.7 faces a lot more downtiers, and the Chally Mk2 and DS both performs very well!

I still think this is a really good tank even before the apfsds was added, most tanks around 9.0 are light tanks and it does fine against t72s anyway

When I get the Money, I'm getting this. I have a model of the Chieftain and I want the vehicle in game. Unreasonable, I know, but I have a weird love of the British tanks, not because I'm British or Anything.
I absolutely love the Chieftains, especially the MK.10 because of how cool Stillbrew makes the turret look. I bought this thing with no hesitation when it came out to have a faster chieftain in my 9.0 line-up, it's actually pretty good.

@@abdaalzeb3703 It’s actually a British tank that was originally made for Iran before the revolution. Then the Jordanian army bought it from Britain. It has a British engine and was made by Royal ordnance, a British company.

And this is why I question why the Rooikat went up in BR (has no advantage over a 9.0 MBT, but speed, combined with awful agility).
Also why I'm not gonna play the WMA301 and the PTL02 any more (cuz I don't want to end up on 9.7). Not to mention that I lost the best CAS for 9.7 (Z-9WA) do to from a 10.0 heli I demand the "gold standard" auto-tracker, and 4 or more hard-points!

This actually seems like a good premium for 9.3 lineup i can finally recommend since i dont really like Rooikats. Nice.
Atleast it has a dart but if I'm being honest I'd probably prefer the earlier darts that Russia uses like the 3BM 22 that shell is the main Russian shell at 9.0 and even though the angle pen kinda suxs the post pen damage is broken
the apfsds is not the right one which is annoying and they also changed the vertical targeting speed from 4.5*/s to 22.5*/s.

The issue with this is the same as the Mk.10 it's at 9.0 and if we're just talking about the Khalid then I'd rather have the Rooikat 105 that's now 9.0 and is superior overall.
I have been using both, and will not all that experienced (about 13 months playing) I would say it's horses for courses. An Olifant Mk1 can do well at 9.7 if played well.

The Khalid and the Al-Khalid aren't the same tank, the Al-Khalid is based off the Chinese Type 90-IIM and the Khalid in the game is a modified Chieftain.
Looked it up, per Wiki (grab a salt shaker) L23 is a long-rod penetrator, not a short rod. Don't try to convince her, she'll just throw a drink in yer face.
