Yeah it’s definitely benefits of a cab over truck shorter and lightweight but back in the 80s when the overall length laws changed that style the truck start going out of style 40 years ago here in the USA so at the moment nobody offers that here in the USA
@@terrellscaife2411 - overall length law might have changed in the US but nobody ever told anyone to widen the roads in nyc, Conneticut, Massachusetts and in Philadelphia, or in New Jersey. Have you ever bumped into a dock in Elizabeth, NJ and your tractor is sticking out and blocking the traffic… and your too afraid to detach your tractor while they are unloading you because your afraid you might not be able to re-attach to your trailer because the dock is dug out so steep the loading area was never meant for your tractor trailer.
Yes I was 20 miles outside of New York and on the New Jersey side that was about 16 years ago

@@mikee5076 seems like Americans are waking up to the fact that the world has more to offer id recommend Mercedes if you are looking for luxury trucks, Scania too but if you're looking for reliable Isuzu and hino are the way to go , I don't know why Volvo doesn't sell their European trucks there too they are quite powerful if you ask Australians

Hino's Biggest engine is every other competitor's smallest engine. still lacking in HP and the exhaust brake is weak

Hino do have the 480hp but it’s has the same torque rating as the 450hp and a friend of mine has chipped his and taken it to 530 and has 1800ftlb 2400nm
The problem with the Japanese trucks they are all day cap trucks coz in Japan they don't sleep in the truck at all
vehicle size restrictions don't allow American style trucks over there so whether you sleep in it or not it doesn't matter

Just finished driving a 2018 2848, pulling light loads in a quad curtainsider.........not a good puller and a cramped driving position. Awful but typical plastic cab interior trim......makes a great fleet motor Im sure but not a lot to attract a discerning driver!

Cab is too small for the comfort of driver. Take a look at the bed the bed is too narrow that nobody can sleep there with ease. If I talk about the comfort of driver which is the most important thing on long journeys the cab isn’t suitable for that .
