Yes. As it is backward. Not much of industrialization has taken place. It has spared the greenery. Eco Tourism should be the only industry that wayanad should concentrate on.

@@manot8273 I am a malayali born and bought up in Gujarat. Apart from the showcase cities like Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, try visiting lower tier cities in Gujarat, try visiting villages. Horrible municipalities and horrible infrastructure. People in both the states have their own vices and I don't consider the people in one state to be any better. But purely taking the government and its initiatives and operations into consideration Kerala is way ahead in providing quality facilities to its people.
