I have a 24/24 mini in Ardoise/Noir with permabrass hardware, and I do like it. What sold me was the adjustable strap, the way the bag lies perfectly against the body, and the grey color, which has been on my wishlist since the beginning. I have it styled with an orange/ pink/navy Twilly with grey in it, and a Ulysse bag charm. I’m a big fan of a Twilly on Hermes bags, since they tend to be free of ornaments. It’s good to know the airport stores do have a few bags!
Thanks for sharing! And it is so great when you can get an Hermes bag in a color that you like! I have since bought one more bag (or wallet to go) in the same airport boutique, so, yes, definitely, there are some options... and maybe those bags end up being available because nobody really asks ... I don't know
Thank you for posting this review and telling us about your airport experience. I also have 24/24 29 and I find it to be very practical and non fussy. I travel with it, carry it everywhere, and it’s more practical and used than my Kelly bag. I just like the understated look and the substantial feel. Most people notice it and comment on it but don’t know it is Hermes. Which is great in a way. I got offered leather goods at the airports twice. Once time I came in to buy a passport cover while carrying my special edition Herbag Pegasus in gold and red. The SA asked me where I got it, and I said at my local boutique (my local SA had to hunt it down for me). Then the SA at LAX told me in hushed tones that they have one just like that but in black and ink in the back. I could have bought it but I already had one so I declined (and I regret it now.) Second time I was offered a Constance slim wallet at the Paris airport boutique. I looked for that in the US for about 2 years and it was never offered on sold. I bought it on the spot, and I use it as a mini bag and a belt bag. It goes with everything.
I love your stories of Hermes bag offers at airports!!! - it really proves that you can score a special piece in those boutiques, of course it does help when you know the brand and show interest (beyond coming in and asking for a Kelly Belt, for example). About 24/24 bag - I also think it is great for security reasons, people do notice that it is a nice bag, but perhaps it does not make you a target for thieves). I have been wearing my bag a lot since I posted the video and I also find it so practical! 🤗
@@SavvyLuxurywithLiza I definitely do like Hermes across many categories. I love their porcelain for example. And carry multiple bag models. My most used one right now is Grooming bag because I bring it to the stables and carry my riding supplies in it. It’s all covered in my horse’s hair but it cleans easily and does not attract dirt which is helpful. I found it very hard to be offered any bag in the US around 2022. When my SA casually suggested Picotin in 2021 (I turned it down because it’s not “my” bag) and hunted down a now-much-loved Herbag Pegasus, he told me in 2022 that they did not receive many bags in the store. I shop in Europe now, and my experience has been very positive so far.
That's a great idea, I might do a video! But in sum, the bag is very hardwearing; I do notice that it starts to slouch a bit more and more, even though I have an organizer in it. I also never (like literally never) use the longer side strap; I just carry the bag top handle all the time and I do not close/lock it either, because it feels like too much of a hassle. It is easy to style too and I think people do notice that this is a nice bag, but most do not know whether it is Hermes or what kind of bag it is. It fits quite a lot also, for me this is a good medium sized bag... I hope this helps!
That’s very helpful to know! I just scored one online but am in two minds whether or not to keep it or return it.. but you have given me lots to think about, thank you!
I have the exact same bag as you! It’s actually the very first bag that my SA offered me few years back. I don’t use it a lot anymore but your video inspires me to reconnect with it and use it more.
Thanks for sharing!! I am happy to hear that! Interesting to know that this was the first bag offered to you by your SA! I hope this is also just the beginning of my journey :)
I can't believe that this bag used to be half the price that it is now! These price increases have been insane... all across the board. I recently saw a bag like this in black, with palladium hardware, online - and it was over 10K USD...
Great video! Gorgeous bag! I have this bag in blue and it’s so practical because of the back pocket! I got mine at an airport Hermes too, the Los Angeles airport store back in 2019. I love it but don’t wear it much anymore. Your video has inspired me to bring it out again. I’ve shopped quite a bit at Istanbul airport H (they have the best prices!) and also got a Herbag there in black, which I love. I’m curious - did you get offered the bag in the morning? 😅 they told me they only get bags in the morning and they’re sold by the time it’s 12pm! But I wanted to check with you!
Super useful info! Thank you for sharing - interesting to hear about your shopping experience in Istanbul airport. And yes, I did get offered the bag in the morning, my appointment was at 7 am... so it was around 8:30 am by the time I was finishing up shopping for all the other stuff that I got offered a bag. I think it makes sense that the bags sell out prior to noon... IST is really quite busy and Hermes there is very popular!
Thank you! And I agree, the bag is a bit heavy ... it does not bother me that much (as of yet), but it is definitely heavier than most of my other bags
I do find the bag to be very practical and easy to use ... but I agree, it is a bit heavy, but does not bother me too much. It feels like a very durable bag

Beautiful bag! May I know how are you finding it now after using it for 6 months? Maybe you could do a 6 months review video ?Thank you :)

Love the gold !
Thank you :)
Gorgeous! I saw that bag online when they first came out a few years ago, and I wish I would have bought it. They were about half the price.

Beautiful one congrats 🤎🤎
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful color! From other reviews, they say it’s very heavy. Do you find it heavy?
Thank you! And I agree, the bag is a bit heavy ... it does not bother me that much (as of yet), but it is definitely heavier than most of my other bags
I start to like this bag, it seems more practical then Kelly, isn’t it? And is it heavy?
I do find the bag to be very practical and easy to use ... but I agree, it is a bit heavy, but does not bother me too much. It feels like a very durable bag
