Man, watching this game felt so close to my Bronze games haha. People throwing their lead, greeding for a shutdown at a crucial defense moment, etc. Wp though! Enjoying your Soraka gameplay so far.
games like this are so discouraging to me. i’m currently in lower ranks and find myself helpless in 50% of my games because of circumstances out of my control. i can no longer play enchanters, because enhancing a teammate’s performance means zilch a lot of the time, tanking blows because you take the damage, peel, and shutdown the highest threats, only for it to not matter, because you have no follow-up damage from your team, and that really only leaves ad/ap supports. and even then, where it should be easiest to climb, your experience is still made miserable by the matchmaking. i know i sound like one of those “it’s everyone’s fault but mine” and yeah i have my bad games, but majority of the time it really is out of my hands. i try to just hold on because i know it won’t be as bad, and the teams will be more consistent the higher i climb, but getting past that hurdle in the first place is the hardest part.
Honestly, my best advice to playing in your matches if you have these circumstances is to strictly play for KDA and objectives. Even if that means to absolutely abandon your co-laner, help the jungler out as much as possible. You want to set up numbers advantages on objectives and get team bonuses!
The magic of low level ranks is that you DON'T need to stick with your laner! And you don't even need to spend that much time helping either. It just requires the thinnest of margins. A single 100hp shield in an early game skirmish is the difference between a won or lost fight.
If you have the game sense, try to identify the closest match-up on your team within 5-10 minutes. You'll win a lot more, and not just by helping your teammate. It'll also tilt the opponent off the face of the earth if they lose by a single auto attack.
@@SupportZan I do this nowadays. ADCs think they will just magically scale at the end of the game if they focus on farm and let the support atk/die. And at the end of the game they flame sup gap
