He seemed like a very cool guy. My Mom died of cancer and my brother has been on chemo for 3 years with stage 4 .Be well all Thank you Frankie for all you did in your life ❤️
R.I.P Frankie Banali, you were always one of my favorite drummers! Not always an Eddie Trunk fan, but this is where he shines. thank you Eddie for doing those interviews. Rock ON!
So sad we lost him. I never knew what an absolute beast he was on drums until I watched the Zeppelin tribute shows with Mr. Jimmy. I didn’t see it with Quiet Riot … but wow. Monster. The greatest Bonham tribute drummer and an original real deal at the same time. So under-rated. A horrible loss. RIP Frankie Banali
Great drummer with a big heart and soul. I didn’t follow Frankie much as I was not a big QR fan but I saw the Dubrow, Sarzo, Carlos line up with him in 2003 in Laughlin and thought they were great. RIP
C;mon Frankie, kick it's ass like you kicked ass on all the QR albums. I have been listening to QR since Metal Health all the way through. Met you and the Metal Health line up several times when you played in NH. Got some sticks you threw to me..You're the best. Keep kicking it! Praying for you.
@@tttarms1970 so sad. I didn't know until I saw your reply. What a bummer. All I can say is Lord rest his soul. I see "1970" in your name. If you were born that year, that's the same as me. So you remember the huge impact Metal Health had on you, (possibly). I met QR at a few club gigs in the late 90's. Great group of guys. Frankie gave me some drum sticks.
Somewhere around 2003 club in Columbia South Carolina quiet riot I believe. I was front row standing slightly stage left and being a drummer Frankie was 80% what I watched. Before oncore Frankie got up from the drum kit and walked front stage and handed me a pair of drumsticks! Although we really didn’t make eye contact during the show he could just tail and feel that I was a fellow drummer. I’ll never forget that sweet generous gesture as well as talking to him after the show. A real class act and solid Brother. My heart aches but I know you’re in a better place now. Be Free my friend.🙏
I never got a chance to meet Frank Bonelli but I've seen a lot of live videos I've got to see Quiet Riot in concert back in 1983 at the US Festival which was Ultimate for me and awesome with all the heavy metal bands especially quiet right there as well and everything into getting to hear some of his stories when he stood outside the Rainbow Bar and Grill he had said in one of his stories after coming out you know other Rainbow Bar & Grill that night to get some fresh air he heard two people or should I say moaning and groaning in the distance and he stepped over close to the dumpster he takes us inside and these two people getting it on in the dumpster anyway check out the video on VH1 when metal ruled the Sunset Strip and you get some information from there anyway Frankie Vannelli you will be missed and you are so loved God bless God speed to metal Valhalla😇🙏❤🇺🇸
This really sad…I can’t believe there isn’t a cure for this yet & losing a lot of good ppl cos of it. I lost a cousin & an aunt…they both went through chemo & it took a lot of their time/energy/caused so much pain…which eventually led them to quitting chemo & finally passed away. RIP Frankie
Man,if you don't follow someone you like and they die, especially if they're a rocker don't be surprised,I sure am. I don't have social media though,so I'd literally have to check on all my favorite musicians, which is becoming a hindrince.
With Cancer, it's very important to have a change in diet and to take a holistic approach. No meats and especially sugar in the diet is very important. There are also many foods that aid in the fight (Sour sop or Graviola is one of them that is popular). I hope all turns out well.
my heart breaks for Frankie, a true warrior

I hope he came to Jesus before his death. After that it's too late to pray.
He was very spiritual
Nice guy that put up with a lot of nonsense because he wanted to keep quiet riot going.
