Yeah the sheriffs in Gravity Falls were supposed to be a canonically gay couple, but unfortunately Disney didn't allow it.
they do finally say they’re in love in the final episode so that’s cool

The funny thing with Total Drama is that it’s a teen show, but when Cartoon Network got distribution rights for the American release, they thought it would be a good idea to market it to kids while making the most minimal of edits to justify it.
8:04 the Gravity Falls clip is completely wholesome and yes those two are a thing, we don't get confirmation until the last episode though.

No, it's always been like this. If you watch the episode in full, be it on DVD or TV reruns, this scene still plays out like that. That's because the show was made here in Canada and was aimed strictly at teens, even airing during prime time. Then when Cartoon Network got the rights, they decided to not only market it to kids, but also edit a few scenes and dialog in an attempt to make it more appropriate. What's funny is that a lot of the story, jokes and characters don't work without certain scenes in there, so most of the inappropriate content remained intact. The only edit I legit hated was when they replaced Lindsay throwing a bunch of bleeped out swears at Heather with a much more typical generic insult, especially since everyone's reaction to what she says in the American cut makes it really obvious she originally said something far worse. Even the delivery sounds off, meaning if you didn't know the show was edited up to that point, it became obvious when that one came along.

So he holds a casting for someone to play the role of Deedee, and be in his lab, breaking stuff, pushing buttons, doing the Deedee thing. He hires this gal in the clip, but she is doing a pretty bad job as Deedee, so he tries to help her on how to act like Deedee. Since Deedee loves dancing, that sparks him to ask this gal to show him how she dances, and… Yea, you know her answer to that 😂
i always assumed the joke was that the sea anemone was reproducing, it was like a nature documentary of sorts, and spongebob looked a bit too much into watching it. i think sponges and anemones are of the same family. so the joke i think is that gary walked in on him watching the sex channel
They missed a bit from Zootopia where Judy is talking about Nick's taxes and says "I mean, I am just a dumb bunny, but we are good at multiplying" so that would be a third bit about bunnies multiplyiing
The Spongebob clip at the start was a reference to a joke from blazing saddles. When taking applications for an army of villains one of them lists his qualifications as "r***, arson, murder, and r***" The antagonist sys, "You said 'r***' twice." and the guy responds, "I like r***."

17:00 I watched “The Chipmunk Adventure” so much as a kid, but it is only recently that I realized the implications of the song that Jeanette and Britney sing in that scene 😳😮💨 (I won’t even point out the obvious implications of it being snakes they’re singing to 😣) How they allowed that song in an Alvin and the Chipmunks film is beyond me. Then again they did have a full uncut Chipmunks version of “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga on the soundtrack for the Third Live Action Film, so…yeah. I just don’t want to think about this anymore 😅
